Been feeling like hell for a while now so finally went to a doctor to see what the hell was wrong with me. Turns out I got advanced cancer. My health insurance sucks and I don't wanna drive my family into insurmountable debt just to keep me artificially alive for a few years. You know me FAN I'll fight anybody that looks at me funny so gonna fight this on my own as long as I can.

I'm so sorry man. I battled cancer a year ago and came out fine. What kind of cancer? Do want to share specifics? If you think that might help?

Keep fighting man, and remember what Stuart Scott said last year:
"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, while you live and the manner in which you live."

You might want to look into a gofundme account. That'll help. I know it sucks asking for money, but please think about it. Cancer bills suck.

Look into Cancer Treatment Centers of America. My girl was considered out of network, and they agreed to eat the 5,000 it would cost her to be able to treat her. CTCA is a hundred times better than their commercials. They flew us down, put us in a hotel, and treated her, flying her down for each subsequent chemo treatment.
It was a horrible ordeal, but the one positive is that we got to experience CTCA and its level of care and treatment.

People being driven into debt just for being sick. It angers me. Oh I see. It is ridiculous. The one thing though is sometimes with cancer, you can get some help. I had a place called Cops Against Cancer which paid for my family's groceries for a month.

People being driven into debt just for being sick. It angers me. Unfortuantely, the model of American health care has focused more on a commerce based approach than a humanity based approach. Granted, medical expenses can be costly, but I always feel like the middle man gets involved to pocked some extra cash. I know this due to the fact that my mom had a hip operation last year. That said, I shall support you. Let us know updates on what happens, alright?
