Saurod is still the coolest action figure from the movie, followed by Blade.

Was anyone else PO'ed as a kid when the Battle Armor variants of He-Man and Skeletor, and the others to come, were released? Only for want of both in their traditional costumes? I remember getting BA Skel for my 7th birthday and not being happy as I wanted the original version.

According to DeVon Franklin, one of the producers of the long-in-development MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie...... ......something's coming next week.

He-Man has gotten infinitely better in years since, with the 2002 cartoon series developing new ideas/changes to make it all better in more modern years (I believe they were the ones to adjust Skeletor's lineage), and then the more recent comics that have really shaken EVERYTHING up ( {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Sorceress RIP, Teela replaces her, Randor was King Hsss all along, and the wonderful little revelation that Adam = He-Man is pretty much common knowledge ) Wait...WHAT? ?? Please do explain that bit about Randor, if you could please. {Spoiler}So...King Hsss replaced the real one at some point, or King Hsss became time displaced and redeemed and became King Randor? Does that mean Adam is part Snake Man? And Adora a Snake Woman? Did Queen Marlena know? If King Hsss was always evil, what did he do with the real Randor? Is he still alive? Did he finally get killed?

Did he finally get killed? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I believe it's the more realistic (if we can even use that word in a He-Man comics discussion ) "Hsss killed him a while back and has masqueraded as him for some time" route. Not to the level of mixing snake DNA into Adam and Adora. And when He-Man kills Hsss, Teela ends up controlling the Snake Men so they're basically good guys now . Although I must confess I'll need to reread that arc as the not-so-hot art was distracting me for a bit during it...

I'm still pissed we haven't had a toy line (classics series) or even Kotobukiya or Hot toys line based on the movie.
I'd by all of em dammit

It wasn't until I had about three of the characters (He-Man, Stratos and Man-At-Arms) that I noticed that they all shared the same body mould!
I loved the toys and the cartoon, though; Skeletor was so badass and had no redeeming qualities at all - which is exactly what you want from your cartoon villains.

Hell it wasn't until like 10 years after the fact that I realized Stinkor was just a recolor of Merman.

I don't remember this, but my mom has told me a thousand times: When I was about 2, He-Man debuted, and I saw a commercial for the toys on tv and went crazy. The next time we went to K-Mart my parents planned to get me a He-Man action figure because I wanted it so bad. However, all they had was Skeletor. My mom was afraid that being so young it would scare me, but I loved it and had to have it. It was my first toy that wasn't a stuffed animal and I wanted to sleep with it (80's parents weren't as concerned about their kids being idiots and eating their toys weapons and stuff). I did eventually get He-Man (and pretty much all the toys except the last year or so of the line as I was getting older and more into G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Ninja Turtles instead) but I have always had a thing for skulls on my t-shirts and stuff which my mom believes is due to my fondness of Skeletor as a child. And just to throw it out there, my sister loved She-Ranand had most of those toys so we would often play together and have crossovers.

I was a huge He-Man guy. I had all the toys that I could manage to con my struggling lower-middle class folks into buying me. (even though they stunk and you couldn't really articulate them as you could, say, a G.I. Joe) It's just so classic. Skeletor had no purpose outside of being there solely to f*** with He-Man. Were he ever successful in defeating him, what would he do? I assume TAKE OVER THE WORLD, but I'd wager that his soul would have a nagging void in it that he just couldn't fill. That might be a good bit, in fact, if it hasn't happened already. The villain wins. He gets what he supposedly set out for, but then falls into a depression because he misses his nemesis. It'd have to be something silly though, like Venture Bros. or Freakazoid. Mark Waid had a comic called Empire that was like that. Super villain conquers the world and finds being a ruler boring. Also the movie Megamind.

I remember watching old he-man cartoons with my brother. I wasn't the biggest fan, but I did like the Christmas special
