Shame they aren't gonna sign AJ Styles, I know he's 37, but I think they could get some good years with him still. Are Styles and Joe the TNA equivalent to Hall and Nash, if they both ever arrived in WWE at the same time? Then Cena can be the face that turns heel that no one expected. Then we have the T-nWo. Now that's a stable. |

Guys, if you're going to judge Joe's overall health based on what he looked like fully clothed under TV production lights, then I think you're kind of looking in the wrong place. Joe's had plenty of matches in the past few months that have been just fine. He hasn't been asked to go near an hour-long draw any time recently that I'm aware of, so that could be an issue, but his overall work has been quite good at times in recent memory. I'd argue that it's actually a pretty reasonable yardstick of judgement. Walking out fully clothed under lights, even with all the emotions at play, would have to be less taxing than wrestling a 20 minute match. Even so, I wasn't making my judgement based only on "what he looked like"... he was obviously gassed as well. Considering he was standing reasonably static, the fact that he was really sucking for air at times gives good reason for concern. I'm not saying the guy's about to keel over. I'm just saying that even with all of the factors that have been listed, he was looking like he really needs to work on his cardio. |

First off, good for Joe if he is trying make a go of it in WWE/NXT. If you're a wrestler and want to make it, of course that's where you want to be.
That said, strictly speaking selfishly from a fan POV, I would much prefer him to do a joint ROH/NJPW run than a NXT/WWE run, although Joe in NXT right now would be stellar as well.

I just think that just Joe would be awesome. Not Just Joe but just Joe. "Joe". Just, how would they copyright just Joe? Just Joe they could because it's not just Joe, but if it was just Joe I don't see them being able to do so. I might just have to accept that and just be cool with him being Just Joe rather than just Joe. |
