I don't know how anyone can complain about the Muppets RAW, when that made Sheamus being related to Beaker canon.

I just don't agree. But I'm cool with agreeing to disagree. I just get sick watching Gerald Brisco talk about how WCW was a bunch of brain dead morons when WWE has committed many of those same crimes. Gerald Brisco is the biggest puppet mentioned in this topic. That, I will agree with. Hey, Gerry just loves the dubya-dubya-eee and working for Mister Mac-Man.

I just want to weigh in to agree that the Muppets Raw was incredible. Also, at least WWE's never had a fictional character have to bail out one of their top faces. They've done some stupid shit with crossovers but they haven't hit full Robocop. There was that time Shaft (/Samuel L Jackson) showed up to protect Crash Holly, and it was awesome

What was the point of Chucky showing up anyway? Was it a tie in to something?
At least Scooby-Doo and the Turtles have the excuse of being tie-ins.

The Turtles were one of the top highlights of 2009.

Well at least he had a good tag team run with Billy Gunn in WWE.

Not gonna lie, I actually kinda liked all of those examples. They're pretty harmless segments that didn't detract from the show.

The thing that made the Chucky segment kinda lame was Rick Steiner not having any clue on how to react to it.
Chucky threatens to rip off his head, arms and legs. Rick responds with "Hey...uh YA GOT SOMETHING TA SAY?! Say it!!"

Hell in a Cell 2009, the PPV was sponsored by a TMNT video game, so they did a segment between two matches where they showed the Ninja Turtles in a skybox. Wait a minute, Scooby Doo showed up on Raw? how in the hell am I only just finding out now? He was Sin Cara's manager for a match to promote the WWE Scooby Doo movie (Sin Cara plays a major part in the film). Grumpy Cat doesn't count because he's an actual thing that could at least scratch you up and his entire appearance on the show was trying to fall asleep backstage as The Miz talked to it.

Wait a minute, Scooby Doo showed up on Raw? how in the hell am I only just finding out now? It was pretty awesome. Sin Cara, the Van and Scooby on the screen all at the same time should have been a Wrestlemania Moment

I would also like to put my name to the list of people who approve of the Muppets on Raw.
Most silly stuff WWE do like this is embarrassing. That wasn't one of them.

Vince: "Chucky? Next thing they're going to be wanting black people, haha!"
Employee: "Sir, you really shouldn't be saying that."
Vince: "I mean, African American people?"
Employee: "Sir I mean the concept of not wanting them around in general."
Vince: "Hmm, well that's silly."
Employee: "Sir you aren't supposed to say racist things about black people"
Vince: "I said nothing of the sort, all I said was that it was silly for people to want black people"
Employee: "That's actually really racist"
Vince: "That's silly"
Employee: "I don't think people will like it."
Vince: "Okay fine, those sensitive jews will complain about anything"
Employee: "Sir you should reword that"
Vince: "f***ing hell now what?"

Mannn I hated Chucky showing up so in WCW so much. Not because it was stupid, but because Chucky scared the hell out of me and I thought pro-wrestling would be the one place I could avoid seeing him.
