Roddy Piper since all the others (maybe excluding Andre) have only done really shitty movies. Piper starred in "They Live!" and "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" and that beats starring in all the shitty action movies for teenage boys ever. I don't even consider The Rock a real actor.

Austin said on his most recent podcast he doesn't really care about acting, feels artificial playing a character and learning lines and prefers being himself on reality programmes. He doesn't do auditions anymore either. I think he had a bit of fun in a few DVD movies and got to fight Stallone in Expendables and that's good enough for him.
Anyway Rock but Batista might overtake him

Wasn't Rock the most bankable star of all of 2013 as far as money made at the American box office? Nobody other than us marks was buying a ticket for Guardians on the strength of Batista being in it.
Dave is on the way there with being in a Bond film and all, but until we see how his career goes, there is really absolutely zero argument against The Rock.

Batista is well on his way. If this momentum keeps up, he could get to Rock levels.
But to suggest that he's had a better movie career than the Rock right now is laughable.

Ventura was in Predator. Nobody can compare. He was also in the complete turd Abraxas, which kind of even things out.

The Rock has the best, obviously. Batista if he keeps it up could surpass him though. Guardians is better than any other movie that had a wrestler in it.
I think I've enjoyed most of Stone Cold's direct to DVD movie career better than other wrestler movie careers though.

Some very strange polls this weekend...
And Batista is 46. Not exactly the prime age for starting a movie career. He should have some good supporting roles as he's the rare big guy who actually shows some personality, but there's no way he's going to be a star of Rock's magnitude.

The Rock is the obvious choice because of the number of movies he has been in now.
However, Guardians of the Galaxy is probably a better movie than anything Rock has been in.
So Rock has been more successful, clearly, but I'd rewatch Guardians before any of the Rock movies I've seen.

Roddy Piper since all the others (maybe excluding Andre) have only done really shitty movies. At the risk of repeating myself, Jesse Ventura was in f***ing Predator. Predator (78% on Rotten Tomatoes), They Live (83%), The Princess Bride (97%), Guardians of the Galaxy (91%). They are probally the only great ones a wrestler has been in. The Rock's starred as the main character in loads, but they've been poorly recieved (though that may change with Fast & The Furious 7) but the other four have been in great films.

Rotten Tomatoes be damned, The Rock has been the lead in movies which have made hundreds of millions of dollars.
I love big Dave, but this isn't even a debate.

Batista needs to at least become a household name and maybe host SNL.

Starlord Gamora Groot Rocket Raccoon Ronan He's not a main character, he's as much a main character as Nebula, a 2nd banana, he's Joey in Friends, he's in the group, but he's not a major part. He owned it, stole a lot of scenes, but he wasn't that big a deal overall. As for henchmen, as you say, the henchmen haven't been great with Daniel Craig, heck, out of all the movies, most people can name like, 3 henchmen, they're not big players. When he's front and centre of the marketing, then he can say he's on The Rock's level. There's nothing bad about it, but he's not in that position yet. Going to have to disagree on that. Even little parts in Bond films go on to become famous on account of being in a Bond movie. Dr Kaufman appears in just one scene in Tomorrow Never Dies, but it's a hugely popular one. Oddjob, Jaws, Red Grant, Baron Samedi, Nick Nack, Xeina Onnatop, Borris, May Day etc have gone on to become iconic roles. Batista is now in a very elite group. The fact they are making such a big deal of Dave being cast in the role gives me hope he'll be treated better than recent henchman like Elvis. The Rock was only around the 5th or 6th main character in Fast Five too, which was less than Batista's credit in GotG. I think we are, because I don't see many of those as iconic roles. Jaws and Oddjob sure, but as for the rest, who? The voodoo guy, the midget, the kinky woman, nerdy guy, Grace Jones. In terms of Bond movies, sure, iconic, but not someone the average person knows about. My favourite film incidentally, is Goldeneye, and as much as I love it, I don't believe most people know who those characters are. It's how in wrestling, Ric Flair is an icon, most people won't have heard of him outside our bubble, they'll know Hogan, Austin and The Rock. Even if the roles are actually iconic, how many of the actors could people name? Being a Bond villain isn't a great way to get your name out there even if people remember the character. Some have had good careers, but it's by no mean a guarantee.

The Rock so far. He was the highest grossing actor in 2013 and The Rock did a lot in freshing up and legitimizing the Fast and Furious films making them into the box office powerhouse and critically successful franchise they are today.
