from WWE its the Rock yeah. No doubt at all. Hogan a sort of close second.
but we all Know Pat "Bomber" Roach and Brian Glover are the best wrestlers turned actors,
Pat Roach was General Kael in Willow as well as like 5 bad guys in the (good) Indiana Jones films. as well as being in Red Sonya, Clash of the Titans, Robin Hood P.O.T & Never say never again.
Glover was as in Alien 3 and American Werewolf in London. and a boat load of other great stuff.

although They live is one of my favorite all-time flicks, the Rock outshines everyone

Excluding The Rock since he's the clear winner. I've got to go with Mil Mascaras. Mil Mascaras vs. the Aztec Mummy is absolutely amazing.

What about HHH in Blade 3? Didn't he save the franchise then?
And John Cena has his own franchise. I'd argue that he's a bigger t star in the Marine than any one of the Rock's movies

As much as I hate to say it, but Dave's movie career has already surpassed Rock's. Guardians and Bond are bigger deals than all Fast & Furiouses combined. That was my reasoning too. The Rock was been in a lot and paid a lot for them, but all but a handful have been critical failures and even then some of the others have had lukewarm praise at best. Not the Rock's fault as he has often been the best part in terrible films. So for me it comes down to the three Fast & The Furious movies against a Bond film and a Marvel movie. And Fast & The Furious can not compete with 60 years of Bond films or the Marvel empire. Batista hasn't carried a blockbuster on his own in a leading role--yet. Rock has in several.

There's literally no defensible way to try to argue anyone but The Rock. He has featured, starring roles in blockbuster after blockbuster, he was the top-grossing actor in 2013, and his film career is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. Did The Rock ever fight Dracula? ![](http://www.gothic.stir.ac.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/santoybluevsdracula.jpg) El Santo fought motherf***ing Dracula. El Santo teamed up with Captain America to stop evil, crime lord/rapist Spider-Man.

Even if it's only one good movie... Piper for "They live". It's the only still relevant movie, that has become somewhat part of pop culture. (Obey...the famous bubblegum-quote)
Rock has made more and in average better movies, but i hardly doubt anyone will remember a single performance of him 20 years later...

No one is going to mention taker playing the evil bounty hunter in suburban commando??? Shame on you people..
Also, "BONE SAW IZ REAADY!" is way better than anything rock has done..

If we're going by "iconic", Harold Sakata who played Oddjob in Goldfinger wins this whole thing hands down.

More like who's second. I side with the man who starred with Carl Weathers, he "ain't got time to bleed."

Are you guys even forgetting that Batista was in "The Man With The Iron Fists"? That movie did not do well at the box office, though I enjoyed it when I saw it in theaters, I am not sure if it will hold up if I watch it again. Then again, I watched it because I am a Wu-Tang mark and wanted to support RZA in his efforts, despite the fact that he had different positions in producing, composing, writing, directing and of course acting in the film.
Batista was also in "Riddick," as a henchman, no less. I kind of enjoyed "Riddick," even though I don't remember that much about that movie.
So I wouldn't say that "Guardians of the Galaxy" is a surefire way of saying that Big Dave will surpass The Great One.

For those saying Batista will eclipse Rock (or, laughably, has already), I'd say he's more likely to follow the acting career of Vinnie Jones. He'll have feature roles in a few big films, and lead a lot of direct-to-DVD pictures. Not a bad career, but he'll never be a top box office draw like Rock.
Big Dave by his look alone is almost destined to play the henchman or the dumb muscle, with the occasional role as the Arnold-esque hero. He's not shown much in the way of acting chops or versatility for a guy who has been acting near enough full time for five years now, and doesn't have the off-the-charts charisma that Rock has.

Zeus! {Spoiler}Yeah, I know, he was an actor who wrestled a few crappy matches, instead of a wrestler who did movies, shut up.

Vin Diesel has the distinction to have worked with both the Rock and Batista. I wonder who he'd rate higher as an actor...

So the Rock is famous for having a great movie career since qutting as a wrestler having appeared in 3 Fast & the Furious movies but is he the best wrestling movie star? I mean besides the three Fast & Furious movies all of his movies are rated Rotten on Rotten Tomatoes with the exception of Welcome to the Jungle and Hercules (which just avoids being rotten by 1%!). Outside of Be Cool, every movie he was in for many years hit #1 at the box office. Every single one. He wins. Hands down.

The Rock. All of his movies may not be great, but he's consistently top billing. He's also (so far) shown a wider acting range. He's currently doing voice work for his 6th kid's movie, and has signed on to be Black Adam for DC's Shazaam movie.
Batista's had a nice start for mainstream Hollywood and has 2 movies coming out I'm looking forward to, but I don't think he'll reach Rocky's level as a lead.
Kevin Nash does get a lot of work playing minor roles (though he's usually entertaining) but I think it's also funny to think that he was straight up offered the part of Sabretooth in X-Men and turned it down.
