I've been saying for awhile that it's gotta be Avengers 3. Part one or two. Not wishing it obviously but that's how when I feel it's gonna burst and with the amount of money being tossed into even the smaller projects (How much did Ant-man cost? Curious) it's gonna be ugly. Obviously it could happen sooner if the upcoming movies are varying degrees of grade-A Ass. I think Marvel are safe through those two films because people are going to be invested in seeing the end after following all the other films. See I think it could have a balloon effect. Those movies are really going to have EVERYTHING thrown in. Characters and plot points. Too much all at once and it just pops. The people that maybe haven't been watching every single one of those might just say "Huh. That looks alittle too complicated for me and I don't feel like doing homework to understand the thing. Ah well." The X-men comic book effect.

I severely doubt that many people are going to see Age of Ultron who haven't seen most, if not all, of the other films. It'll be the same with those 2 I think and while they may have lots going on, films like Harry Potter and the Hunger Games show you can have these huge casts and keep the interest going over years of multiple parts.

There's zero chance Avengers 3 doesn't do huge numbers. That's just not going to happen.

The thing is though that Ultron really had barely anything to do with the grander scheme of things. You could've honestly watched Avengers 1 and 2 and not missed all that much. 3 is going to be another hill of beans where 85% of the movies become required watching. You can't just assume that everyone watches everything ya know? Might work. Might not. Most likely it will but I'm just saying if I was placing my bets on when the Superhero bubble bursts or atleast starts to slowly roll down the hill. It's there. Either in the middle of those movies or after them. Again, not hoping for it at all. This is the best time to be a comic book fan probably ever. Marvel, DC. Give it to me. All of it!

I remember we had this same conversation when Guardians Of The Galaxy was coming out... Amazing to think anyone seriously doubted Batista.

I feel like the only thing going against Ant-Man is that Edgar Wright didn't get to make the movie. I was really looking forward to his take on the character, because he really loves him, but I've got faith that it's still going to be good. It looks like a ton of fun.

My only concern about the next phase of Marvel is how much Agent Carter and Agents of Shield are going to be required. I don't watch either and really don't have plans to watch them or the Netflix series at this time. If they're required, then it's going to be yet more source material that's needed to understand what's going on in the third movie.

Whedon has said the Marvel executives told him they don't want people to have to watch the shows to understand what's going on.

But a huge, 2 part movie may have a different philosophy, especially since Whedon isn't involved.

Certain elements from Age of Ultron make sense on its own and don't need for the viewer to watch S.H.I.E.L.D. to understand it, but for those that do watch weekly, it's an added bonus.

The real question becomes what will Marvel do after Infinity War? If anything it's storyline paints a scenario of the battle taking place within the cosmics as the endgame. Thanos, for all intents and purposes, would be considered the big bad within this epic scope. So where does the story go after Infinity War? Possibly just focus on Defenders and Heroes For Hire? Maybe do the Death of Captain America story and build the next phase around people trying to replace him. I'm sure they'd love to do World War Hulk and a few other comics as well

Yeah, Ruffalo said on his Facebook that Planet Hulk and World War Hulk isn't happening.

You know the Texas Twister is ready to step up should Cap bite the big one. And who needs Reed Richards when this guy already has all his powers? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Man

I doubt it'll flop, but it's Ant-Man. Who cares? Yeah, he can go tiny like an ant. We got it. Cue two hours worth of CGI that show how cuh-rayzay normal stuff looks from that perspective.
