So this was announced by William Regal during Takeover, starting in a couple of weeks on NXT TV. Now there's an old-school idea that I didn't expect to be brought back... reviving the Crockett Cup concept.
Who should win it? How should the teams be decided, established teams or Lethal Lottery random pairings? What should the prize be? Discuss.

Looking forward to this. I miss when tag team matches would main event shows so I'm hoping this is a start of WWE really taking the tag division as a serious part of the show.

Bring in some indie teams, maybe have some of the lower main roster teams make it, all the NXT tag teams and take a cue from PWG and make every match with the champs a tag team title match.

And it turns into a contest to make the other crack first. Tornaments are almost always good, because they instantly add greater stakes to every match and that's what makes NXT so good. |

I've noticed that NXT seems to be focusing on putting the non-indy guys in tag teams, lately, which seems to me like a great way to build up the new talents without them being overshadowed by the big time singles guys.
So I fully approve of this tournament.
