It needed to happen but the way it did was underwhelming for me.
Just felt like it was all telegraphed, for me AC and Finn slightly held back a bit during the match, when they should have been wrestling (in kayfabe at the least) like this was an important title match, it kind of got hot towards the end, just before the Corbin run in, but it's like subconsciously they couldn't get the ending of the match out of their heads, and both were working the match just waiting for that moment.
Nice set up going into the build up to Takeover, are we going to have a Fatal 4 way I wonder?
oh and.. WHY Joe WHY?

Oh and I thought Marley looked better in the ring than Eva Marie. I would like to see more of her.

Was most likely paid off to pretend that they were a fan. My god, Kris Lewie thinks she sucks. Cause god forbid some of these people in the audience actually like this woman. For the love of god, there was Mojo section. These audience has fans that will cheer anything! I only pray that these "Smart" fans come up with some clever Vinny-related chants towards Cameron. There has been plants all throughout wrestling history who were paid to pretend to cheer and holler and to justify a promotions claims. TNA has used nothing but plants the past two years and WWE isn't above using them either. Why was that Eva Marie fan then just for that her match and disappeared afterwards? How did they know when her match was going to happen so they can appear? Answer: They was a person hired to be there by them or a staff member was told to do it so they can claim that someone likes Eva and should be allowed to have this abomination of a wrestler on their roster

I legit turned the show off when Boring Corbin came out during the main event. As soon as he interfered I was like "f*** this show, man."
I don't get Baron Corbin and I'm not entertained by him in the least - he's legit "go-away" heat for me. I don't care if Crews gets revenge on him or any of that. Please, just get that guy out of the main event scene.

Did they plant the seeds for a WGTT reunion? Would they not be perfect for NXT? . I think Haas retired. Not that that necessarily means anything in Wrestling.

Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what it was. Also going back to Asuka vs. Cameron my brain can't fully process how Cameron ended up in that Armbar edit: Watching this now... up to the Eva match... I liked the hair whip taunt/attack thing... Yeesh... that was a bad boot... what was that indeed. the sliding flatliner thing is weird... not a terrible move but I think it needs work... like Eva in general Hope we see more of Marley in the future.

Mojo's fan section were the worst, especially seeing as they'd apparently threaten people who booed him and sat on their hands/texting whenever anyone else came out.
Oh, and Marley seemed pretty damn good. Decent in ring & a looker, she was Gionna Daddio or something wasn't she? Only remember because her twitter was @whosyodaddio.

If somebody could make a gif of the fan playing violin during Balor's entrance, that would be fantastic.

Daddio/Marley looked really good in her debut, even better considering she's only been doing this for a little over a year and she was in there with Eva. She's got a great babyface energy.
Interesting that they never mentioned her by name, and it sounded like they edited commentary to remove any mentions. Maybe a name change is on the cards.

The presentation of Apollo Crews is hilariously boring.

Asuka v Cameron - Poor Cameron got her ass kicked around in this one. Asuka is one tough chick. I'm in love.
Bull Dempsey v Angelo Dawkins - I can't stand either of these guys and refused to watch this match.
Eva Marie v Marley - I love, love, love, Eva. She has got THE LOOK. That finisher looked kinda dumb. She looked pretty winded at the end.
NXT Championship Match: Finn Balor (c) v Apollo Crews - Oh man what a great match. I hated the run-in as it happened but see why it had to be done. Joe's turn we could see coming 5 miles away. I'm sensing a fatal four way for the NXT title in London and that sounds just fine to me.

In terms of the modern, spot-filled style of pro wrestling, Crews/Balor was damn near perfection.
Really liked the run-in finish too, because no way that should have a clean finish. And Joe's heel turn was awesome, with him selling being conflicted about it in a subtle way. Like from the character's standpoint, based on how he acted, I didn't get the feeling that he ran out there planning to do it. He looked at Balor then looked back up the ramp, and he was pacing around, sort of agonizing over the decision, but his frustration boiled over and he snapped. Then he was kind of rubbing his head in a way where he seemed to have some dissonance over the decision, but kept beating Balor down anyway.
I almost skipped this week, but well worth watching.

Asuka is such a freaking troll.
And I'm not entirely sure how to feel about that.

I don't know how anyone can look at Eva and think she has a future as a wrestler. The woman just doesn't have the athleticism required to be passable, let alone good. Considering she was completely upstaged by Cameron, who herself needs quite a bit of work, further exposes that she just doesn't have it to be in the ring. Put her somewhere else. Make her an announcer, a backstage interviewer, anything else that keeps her away from the wrestling side of things. Getting heat itself should not be used alone as a measuring stick for a push.

I think WWE's logic is that she's already "over", so everything else should fall into place over time.
