TL;DR Match Listing:
NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder (c) v The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)
Asuka v Dana Brooke
Apollo Crews V Jesse Sorensen
NXT Women's Championship Match: Bayley (c) v Eva Marie

That's right, it's Wednesday again that means only one thing... It's NXT time! A fresh set of tapings begins airing tonight, as always taped at the Full Sail University arena, and to say that tonight will be a can't miss episode is an understatement for the ages.
I think I can say without hyperbole that tonight's main event is the most important wrestling match there's been since Abraham Lincoln first wrestled a grizzly bear to a 60 minute time limit draw with the American Presidency on the line... And that will be Bayley defending her NXT Women's Championship against Eva Marie. To some, it's just a wrestling match with a fighting champion defending against a worthy challenger... Eva Marie is on a five match televised winning streak, after all. But to others, it's a battle of competing ideologies, a battle between what they want women's wrestling to be, and what they don't ever want it to be again. Will the ponytailed people's champion stop The Red Queen in her tracks? Will Eva Marie stun the critics and walk away with the title? And what role will Nia Jax play in the whole situation?
Somewhat overshadowed is a second title match, with the NXT Tag Team Championship up for grabsies. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will be making their first defense of the titles in a rematch against the previous champions, The Vaudevillains. Last time out, it was a methodical assault on the leg of Aiden English that led to Dash and Dawson walking away with the belts, and one has to believe that The Artiste has still not quite recovered from that yet... But never count out a wounded gentleman. Can the Carolina wrecking crew keep on going hard and keep on holding the gold? Or will The Vaudevillains become the first team to reign twice as NXT's premiere duo?
Tonight will also see the official contract signing for the Takeover: London NXT Championship match between Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. An irreparable rift has formed between the Dusty Classic winners over the gold, and one can only wonder what will happen when these two are face-to-face for the first time since Joe turned on Balor a few weeks ago.
Finally in singles competition, Dana Brooke looks to re-write the result from Takeover: Respect in a rematch against Asuka and Apollo Crews tries to keep his impressive run of results going in a match against former TNA talent Jesse Sorenson.
All that, and OH SO MUCH TENSION, TONIGHT on NXT!
