Johnny Manziel has been indicted by a Dallas County Grand Jury. He has also reached an out of court settlement with his ex. link

Not a shock there, the only teams that would trade up would want Wentz or Goff (still don't think either guy is worth a top 10 pick), and 3 and 4 will probably be linemen, and on both sides of the ball it's deep draft for the line.

With the new board I guess we can have a separate thread for the draft, just 1, as well as the usual news thread.

Adam Schefter Verified account @adamschefter For the first time in recent memory, NFL has notified all 32 teams that no player tested positive at February combine, per league sources.

Breaking: Court rules in favor of the NFL in the Deflate gate case. Brady to serve 4-game suspension.

Breaking: Court rules in favor of the NFL in the Deflate gate case. Brady to serve 4-game suspension. He probably can't take it to the Supreme Court b/c there won't be a majority. The guy should just serve it and be done with it. He's probably losing more $ out of this than the suspension itself.

Breaking: Court rules in favor of the NFL in the Deflate gate case. Brady to serve 4-game suspension. No surprise there. You can argue whether or not deflating balls helps or not, whether it is worth punishing someone or not, or whether Brady was involved or not because none of those things were particularly germane as to whether or not the NFL could suspend him or not. If for no other reason, destroying evidence (his cell phone) alone was enough for the NFL to punish him.

I think there's higher courts of appeals they can go to, but I really can't see the SCOTUS even agreeing to listen to the case.

I'm so tired of this deflategate thing. Look. I'm pretty sure that he cheated. But until the NFL is willing to overturn game results, playoff or Super Bowl included, which will NEVER HAPPEN, all of this is just theater. Fans don't care about cheating, the league doesn't care about cheating, the sponsors don't care about cheating. No one cares enough to actually overturn a game. So let's stop with this theater.

Why won't this end. You know what would really shock me? The Patriots being the only team that manipulated air levels in footballs.

This is horseshit, they should have told the NFL "You conveniently lost all the deflation data from every game last year, so he's not suspended."
