We were talking about this at work today and nobody came up with the same response.
For me, I think the fourth episode of The (BBC) Office's first season - "Training" - might be the most flawless episode of a sitcom there is.
What say you, FAN?

'Bambi' an episode of The Young Ones... Great story, lots of good guest appearences and the musical guest was Motörhead.
Also can't remember what number episode it is.. But the 'Monty Python Flying Circus' episode that feature the New cooker sketch, classified ads, ministry of silly walks and finally ending with the great Piranha brothers sketch.

"face the press" first episode of series 2.

The One with the Embryos from Friends is TV at it's finest.
"It's actually Miss Chanandler Bong."

The two that jump immediately to mind are the Manos episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and "Return to Spider Skull Island" from the Venture Brothers.

The One with the Embryos from Friends is TV at it's finest. "It's actually Miss Chanandler Bong." 'The One Where No-one's Ready' is even better. Nothing short of genius, and virtually in real-time.

"Kicking Bishop Brennan up the Arse" or "Hell" from Father Ted, and you could pretty much take your pick from Arrested Development.

there are quite a few episodes of the Simpsons that would qualify for me. Homie the Clown and Homer Badman come to mind straight away.

"Homer's Enemy", the apex of The Simpsons, IMO.

I have such a soft spot for "Tomkinson's Schooldays" from Ripping Yarns (a British comedy anthology series from Michael Palin and Terry Jones)

The episode of Great Teacher Onizuka where Teshigawara is introduced, and the audience finds out he's stalking Miss Fuyutsuki. I'm always crying at the point that Onizuka almost pulls the 'rape string' and Teshi goes nuts.

Gunmen of the Apocalypse "This looks like a job for the...RIVERIA KID" "She's not jailbait, she's 17" Back to Reality is up there as well. Some truly sublime stuff in that episode.
