Balor's finisher looks so sloppy compared to the finishes of any other NXT Champ. I hate it so much. Didn't he use a secondary finish against Owens in Japan? I'd rather see him do almost anything else.

He at least needs to use something more deadly as "The Demon"..you know, it's supposed to be evil personified.
I'd go with the Tombstone personally.

Not sure why he can't just use a variation of Bloody Sunday.

They will probably change it if he's on the main roster since Del Rio uses a similar move.

I'd rather see him do a move unique to him, but I agree that Demon Balor needs a different finisher. I think Demon Balor needs a different moveset entirely.

More head based offense and working body parts. As for a finisher, I do think Balor and "The Demon" need two different ones. If not the Tombstone, maybe the Steiner Screwdriver? Probably too dangerous though.

The Demon should constantly bust out some surprises (legal or not, long as he gets away with it) -- maybe the Japanese mist in one match, brass knuckles in another, stuff that should genuinely scare opponents who don't know what the Demon might spring on them. Does it in spots when the ref is distracted, then gets called to Regal's office who shows him the tapes and Finn says he has no memory of what happens when he unleashes the Demon, he's as shocked as anyone ... then flashes an evil grin as he leaves the office.

Thought he was at least 5'11.

I do like the idea of The Demon actually wrestling differently. I think he should probably whip out a submission hold, maybe Low Ki's Dragon Clutch. That would be a cool visual with the facepaint.
I've never liked the diving double foot stomp as a finisher, even if it is believable enough to put someone away. Bloody Sunday would be better, or maybe something like the Angel's Wings? Is anyone using that in WWE? I don't think so.
Falcon Arrow would be great too, but that has been used as a mid match move by Rollins lately.

Yeah I agree. Obviously if he properly "followed through" with his feet he'd legit kill them so he has to kind of slide off and crumple up next to them. It looks weird.

I honestly don't understand the hate for it. A grown man jumping that high and stamping on your chest would be instant death. I wince every time he does it because it looks so vicious. I don't get why people don't like it.

We're upset by a guy leaping off the top rope and stomping a guy's ribcage, but go nuts over a generic powerbomb where the opponent jumps first... this board is strange sometimes.

I don't get why people don't like it. It's realistic, but it's not theatrical and always looks contrived when it happens because of how he has to carefully line up into position for it, and while it would in actuality put someone down, in wrestling it doesn't feel like that big a deal. Like, even that one he did off a ladder on Owens to me just felt like, "That's it?" as far as a match finish, because the move just has no visual impact or dramatic flair at all.

Do we feel the same about Del Rio's stomp?

It just seems a little awkward on a guy who doesn't use his legs a lot on his offence. It seems like the sort of move that's more natural when most of the guys offence is based on kicks and leg strength, like Low Ki and Itami. Also it was originally one of Itami's many NXT finishers that he stole.
