To claim someone as a Local Man is not something to be just thrown around like a Titus O'Neil scoop slam. Only two wrestlers have ever been deemed "worthy" of such a label, and it arguably took one of the most heinous acts of ruining in the history of this sport for them to get it. BUT... For a wrestler himself, to claim someone of having "ruined everything"... I believe it to at least be enough to open the floor for consideration. Now, someone will inevitably bring up Corey Graves saying this about Blue Pants at Takeover: Brooklyn. The thing about that is, her actions led to a popular result for the majority of the fanbase, that being a popular tag team in The Vaudevillains winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. Chris Jericho is not a popular man at the moment around these parts, and his actions are only exacerbating the situation. He shares a couple of criteria with our two existing Local Men. This being... One, a long career working mostly the same gimmick, leading to a perceived air of staleness around his character. And two, his actions are at the expense of an act that is much more beloved than he is at the moment. HOWEVER... Working in his favour is the fact that... This is pretty much just US holding a grudge here, a lot of it over things that didn't actually happen on WWE TV (his comments on Reigns at the 2015 Rumble, for example). He's still a beloved babyface to most live crowds, while Big Show and Kane's actions as Local Men have been almost exclusively as characters meant to be despised. Anyway, I'm not going to make this legally binding in the FAN by-laws (that shit is loaded with enough red tape as it is), but is THIS...  ...Chris Jericho's future, RIGHT HERE at the FAN Forums?
