He's in my top 5 fave wrasslerz ever but he's getting "internet hate" because he's been terrible lately. For a guy who prides himself on re invention and so on he really needs to change things up. I actually felt kinda bad for him when he said rooty tooty booty and then pulled the mic away and looked at the crowd to get the chant and like 20 people were doing it. He's not on the Kane/Show level though. He needs to embrace his veteran status. When HBK got old he did his whole "goofy out of touch old guy" thing. Jericho still acts like he's 25. Yeah, the dislike for his segments is justified so far. It still feels over the top and personal, but 2 weeks and 2 not good promos. His act feels forced and lame right now, to the point where I wonder if it's on purpose. |

I voted no. He can still go in the ring. Still very good on the Mic and is fantastic at working the crowd.
I was at Raw last night and he got a HUGE pop when he came out. Crowd did react well to him. Lots of Y2J chants.

It's probably been at least referenced in this thread, but... The only thing I'm not a fan of is trying to expand the concept. Kane and Big Show are The Local Men. The Local Men are Kane and Big Show. No one else can join, no one else was a Local Man in some other era. As long as it's kept to those two, it's most absolutely beautiful idea ever. |

Jericho is the most local of local men. That has a lot to do with him being an ass to me personally a few years back during his heel schtick. Trying to kayfabe a person under thirty, who has seen you change personas as often as you change your socks, in an age where the Internet exists, is dumb as hell.
