Triple H: Vince, this Breeze guy is great, he'll be a good heel. Vince: Ha Ha Bring him up, that sounds awesome, push him to the moon. I'm hungry bring me a steak sammich. Writer: Here you go Lord McMahon, a steak sandwich. Vince: Who the hell asked for that? I'm not hungry. Take that away. This Breeze push is done, he sucks. Triple H:

I'd like to point out, if this were true, it took Vince a week to not be convinced by a guy since he ended up losing to Ambrose two weeks into his debut.
A WEEK!
Part of me thinks it's a bit too contrived even for Vince. At the same time, it's pro wrestling and it is Vince McMahon so...

What always really baffles me about these situations is that the company has to spend tens, maybe even over a hundred thousand dollars by the end of someone's developmental time just training these guys to be able to wrestle. Then they come up, and even if their debut doesn't go completely wrong, some chucklef*** decides to bury them outright instead of trying to see if they can get a return on investment. WWE is running all of this expensive-ass overhead, and there is one guy who really wants to try and make a return on that investment, and is even making an acclaimed product using that investment, and it must frustrate the hell out of him when a top prospect just gets shoved off to the side.

The badass NXT Tag Team that wrecked everyone? The team that got DQ'd in a match against Roman and DB for kicking their asses too hard?
And then proceeded to do nothing else ever again.
I have no problem believing this.

Oh I don't either because pro wrestling is full of dumbasses who hate their fanbase but have to put that fine point out there.

This is completely in character for Vinny Mac, so it's pretty much believable especially for how drastic the shift was.
The sooner Vince can be put into a "Chairman Emeritus" role, the better.

He actually lost a Superstars match to Swagger. It's not the end of the world but they clearly had no plan for his call-up; he's just a more visible Xavier Woods pre-New Day.

Ugh. This is why I get upset with modern day WWE.
Breeze is incredibly talented. He's a fantastic worker, amazing promo and does his gimmick to perfection. Yet somehow, Vince thinks he sucks.
God damn lazy millennials, am I right?

I really hate this company in every non-NXT way right now. Jesus H Christ...
Sad thing? Every single person could see this coming for Breeze. We KNEW it was going to happen.

I like to imagine that Vince McMahon forgets that the matches are worked, and just assumes guys who can't win matches are born losers.

Wow that is a perfect comparison. Xavier was only called up to be the catalyst for Brodus Clay to turn heel so Albert could retire. Tyler Breeze was the backup plan after the Rusev/Lana/Summer/Ziggler angle flopped.

You know, everyone arm chair books and thinks they know better than Vince McMahon. Step back and look at what Vince has achieved with WWE. The guy can spot talent and make it grow, as well as greatly punish and de-push to make someone work harder.
I suspect Vince didn't see the next Hogan/Hart/Rock/Austin/HHH/Undertaker in the Breeze and decided to make him work through the ranks instead of HHH auto push.
