The OP's name is "Bringbackblood" ...Do we really need to take the absurdity of this thread further?? I assumed it was a typo for Bling Back the Brood and she wants Gangrel to kickstart his rap career.

What is the point of using fake blood during the justified thrashing of Roman Reigns on RAW? They want to keep blood off the screen, yet they don't tell viewers the blood is fake!?! Is the point not to "shock" the current pussy PC society with blood on the screen, be it fake or not? So why not be authentic and respect the business and its history, by blading authentically? Roman Reigns is not a real wrestler nor he ever will be in my book as long as he is a blading virgin. Look at all the best matches in history, real blood was used to draw the raw emotion into the match. Fake blood does not do that. You are not a real poster. Thread needs a lock 'n' block.

Allow them to tell you how it is just an honor to compete at WrestleMania and you should feel honored no matter the result...

Let's retcon all of wrestling and pretend real life blood hasn't ever played an important role in getting a match/angle/wrestler over. Maybe revisit the Austin and Bret sharpshooter incident and claim that the fact we knew it was Austin's own blood pouring over his own head wasn't an important factor and the impact would have been just as big if it was just a capsule splodged everywhere. Blading is/was a tradition in wrestling for decades for a reason. The way people are gasping in horror at what the OP writes and mocking it and comparing it to "wanting a movie serial killer to actually kill people" is dumb. That was then, this is now. Things change with the times. Deal with it. Also, nobody is ignoring the fact that blood played a part in those moments. It's just that with all the modern medical knowledge, people believe that the risk isn't worth the reward.

What was the point of saying "deal with it" other than to try and use it as a put down to make yourself feel better? Who denied times had changed? We don't see the piledriver any more "I'd like to see piledivers again" - Times change, deal with it. Great, thanks for an adult discussion on the subject.

I didn't know it was fake blood until I got on Facebook today. Ten million posts about it being a blood capsule and how stupid and fake it is/was. While watching Raw I couldn't tell the difference and thought it was an awesome segment.
It boils down to real, fake, why does it matter so damn much?
Like someone posted earlier, fake blood is better than no blood these days.

You were the one who seemed to get upset over people not wanting blood anymore. You're right about not needing the deal with it part, though. It's just that I wanted to say it once after being told to "deal with it" so many times. Figures that it would blow up in my face. I can't seem to say anything without looking like a goddamn f***tard...

Wrestlers are products of their times. Would Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes have been as over if they never bladed? Probably not, but that was because the audience at the time expected blood. This does not mean that we should continue blading because it once helped guys get over. I am glad we have moved away from that era. I am not against blood in moderation because it can help tell a story but that story has never been worth the health risks which is why I welcome the use of fake blood that can tell the exact same story without the issues mentioned earlier.

Like someone posted earlier, fake blood is better than no blood these days. This all applies to me as well. In addition... I won't care unless I SEE the guy pop a capsule in his nose, just like I never liked it when you'd catch a guy blading. I like color. Full Muta scale stuff. Real, fake, don't care, just make me believe. Don't care how it happens as long as it's believable. That all being said, if blood never showed up again in WWE I wouldn't care too much. It's not needed, but I do enjoy its now rare appearances.

Anyone who remembers the visual of Brock Lesnar smearing the actual blood of the legendary Hulk Hogan on his chest AND understood the deep meaning of it should fully understand the power that human blood can have on the emotions of people. Fake blood can't do that. gfycat.com/ShimmeringSlowArchaeocete

If I were an admin I would have locked and blocked you by now but it's not my choice. The consensus is, Blood can add to the emotion of a match or moment, real or fake, no matter the situation. if it looks good, it looks good, if it's better for the health and well being of the wrestlers, then that is what it is.
Stop with the stupid respect and DIS BUSINESS and TRUE EMOTION OF BLOOD VIRGINITY because it's fallen on deaf ears as it should...

Now, I'm not picking any sides but... The way you guys are jumping on and responding someone whose viewpoint doesn't fit with the general hivemind here just comes off so pretentious.

I saw at least one person agree with me. But I guess that does not matter. Lol I simply asked a question, why use fake blood? It should be the wrestlers call if they want to blade legit or fake. I strongly suspect the guys who Choose to blade legit would go over big compared to those who chose To use fake blood. Like it or not, blood is and will always be part of wresting.

Because you're assuming you're older than Chazraps for one just for your WRESTLING KNOWLEDGE, and the fact you cant seem to take anyone elses opinions or thoughts on the matter seriously and just keep obsessively listing your own because of your apparent real blood fetish
You're absolutely ridiculous, not trying to insult you but that is how it has come off here.
