I basically agree with TC. *shrug* Maybe I'm a savage. The reactions in this thread make me think we're not far off from becoming the society from Demolition Man, incredibly sensitive people, who inspire joy-joy feelings in all those around them. Lol. Some dude starts a thread about how someone using fake blood angers him so much, but right, its EVERYONE ELSE who is incredibly sensitive. FAKE BLOOD!! NOOOOOOO!! ITS RUINING WRESTLING!!! REIGNS ISN'T A REAL WRESTLER BECAUSE HE DIDN'T BLADE. EVERYONE IS TOO SENSITIVE ABOUT THIS BUT ME!! Well being frustrated about something doesn't make one sensitive. You have one side saying wrestlers should take it like men and blade themselves. The other side saying think of all the illnesses. I would think the second example is more associated with sensitive people.

Respect doesn't mean shit when your health is shot for the long term. It's wrestling, not tiddly-winks. They know what they're getting into. Except Undertaker didn't when he wrestled in that HIAC match with the Ortons. Lol. If I had the choice between scarring myself and risk a disease just to entertain a few bloodthirsty people in a staged fight or just take a pill with no risk, I'll take the option that won't potential kill me(unless I somehow happen to choke. How's that for irony?). If it's less manly, so be it.

Keep in mind too that WWE probably isn't going to use blood packs all the time and we may never see it again. Hell, Vince could've had Roman specifically use it because he didn't want Roman's "sexy" face getting scarred (I'm half-joking here). But that beatdown segment did not need real blood, not to mention that getting real blood would've required Roman to legit smash his face multiple times against a table and smash his nose.

There's no ways going around it, for you sensitive people you should take that example like man. Accept it.

I guess Mass Transit is the greatest wrestler ever then seeing as he lost his "blading virginity" in such spectacular fashion Mass Transit was criminally assaulted by a thug posing as a "wrestler" who should have been in prison for over 10 years now. Mass Transit trusted his co-worker to properly blade him for effect. It was not his fault what happened to him. I think the comparison you are presenting is facetious at best, obtuse at worst. Mass Transit lied about his age and wrestling experience--in that he had any at all--so that he could try and weasel his way into the business. Doing so in a way that, due to the fact that he had no idea how to make a pretend fight look real, how to sell, how to properly and safely do anything, put everybody involved in that match into extreme danger. Both the criminal and civil courts found that New Jack was innocent and not liable for what he had done. Trust can't be built on a lie, and the real people in the wrong were Mass Transit, who lied and begged New Jack to blade him, and his father, who backed up the lie that got him put into the match.

Yeah, this has gone on as long as it can without a lock.
