"Simple Ways": Thought this was a hilarious episode. Gave us Ponyville Days as another holiday in this city, Trenderhoof was a decent enough secondary character but the highlight of the episode were clearly Rarity and Applejack. Rarity in her drama queen mode and then later in her Simple Ways get-up and country accent was among the funniest things the show ever did. Not to mention Applejewel.  All in all, this was a fun one to watch. B+. The TLML Adventures Part 52While Twinkleshine was down with a terrible migraine, Lemon Hearts and Minuette decided to visit Lyra on the day that the Ponyville Master of Ceremonies for the Ponyville Days Festival was decided. Though Lyra was not in the running, she was definitely interested in it as well...    After Rarity was chosen, the three decided to pay Twinkleshine a visit in Canterlot to see if she were better and also to tell her about the festval. Unfortunately, Twinkleshine was still out cold but she assured her friends that they should see the festival without her, she does not want to spoil their fun. So, they returned back to Ponyville the next day...   Despite hearing about some hiccups with the planning of the festival, the festival came around as planned and it was a blast (at least for Minuette and Lyra because Lemon Hearts went overboard at the cider auction and they had to get her home to let her sober up)...   So, with another festival gone, the friends thought about what was gonna happen next? |
