Ambrose rarely ever even wins matches, now have him beat the most dominant wrestler CLEAN? Absolutely not. Lesnar needs to kept dominant and strong until they have finally gotten behind a top face and is over and drawing. Reigns isn't over or drawing. Ambrose is over but not drawing and doesn't have many (if any) big wins under his belt
If they are going to go "all in" with Ambrose booking wise then sure but I don't believe they are. If they were they would have done it to begin with right after the shield broke up since he was by far the best all around talent of the group

Dean absolutely needs this win. I almost want to say that he's lost more times than Bray and I'm not even sure how that's possible. But this time it seems like they're seriously trying with him. They've done more to build up this match than any of the other Wrestlemania events, IMO. It's all looking wonderful so far so I'm okay with getting my hopes up a bit here.

I don't think so. A lot of it has to do with my faith in WWE, they haven't really booked Ambrose any differently to give him any momentum going in, he's still the guy they turn to when they need a fall guy, the feud is kind of lame (I love Terry Funk to death but "gee thanks for this chainsaw" was still a really stupid idea). Brock is the only larger than life thing WWE has going and if we're gonna bring him down to Earth you might as well do it with a guy where it's a no brainer. Ambrose could be the guy but as of right now I don't feel the stage is set, I don't have any confidence that Dean Ambrose post-win is any more valuable than post-loss. Lesnar will lose a part of his magic and Ambrose will go back to being behind Roman Reigns.
Beating Brock would mean WWE would really have to get their act together with Ambrose's character and I can't see them doing that. I wanna like Ambrose more than I do, but a cute joke is always around the corner with him and the whole "lookout, he's crazy" schtick isn't working. His current act isn't a "beat Brock Lesnar" worthy act to me.

Bloodied, battered, nearly broken, but triumphant.

There's no reason not to. Brock would lose nothing at all from the loss, particularly given the gimmick, and Ambrose would benefit huge from it and is well past due to actually win a big match for once. And it leaves the door open for a big rematch down the line of, "Okay, now beat him with your bare hands."

Why do we need to "keep Lesnar strong"? He's already booked as the absolute baddest guy in the company. He's been kept strong as f***. It's time he makes someone a star by being pinned clean. If not Ambrose, who exactly are we "saving" Lesnar for?

Ambrose is 30. Brock is 38. Ambrose has only been in the WWE for five years. Brock has has been in the WWE for eleven years ( even counting his absence.) There's zero reason for Dean to lose. He's the hot up-and-comer with a seemingly bright future. Brock is a well-established aging veteran. Why would you put an aging veteran over a hot up-and-comer at the biggest show of the year. This is like booking 101.
Hell , Brock shows up on maybe thirty dates a year. Ambrose is there every week. You get way more outt of an Ambrose win here. By a measurable amount.

Lesnar won't suffer anything if he gets beaten by someone presented as a crazy son-of-a-bitch who won't stay down. Meanwhile, you get a hell of a lot of mileage with an Ambrose victory, making him even more of a superstar than ever.

This is the match that's going to make or break this Wrestlemania, IMO. I hope Ambrose wins.

Lesnar's credibility as one of the most powerfully booked monster heels in WWE history, and by extension, wrestling history, isn't in danger, I think in general, there's more money in an Ambrose win, both for creating any intrigue for a future match between them, and to try to establish Ambrose as this wild card they want him to be. If he wins, a street fight between him and anyone else is a big deal, because it's the match he beat the formidable Brock Lesnar in.

He can go over Brock as a psycho who won't quit. If they decide to put him over, they absolutely cannot spend the following 90 days just making him another guy with a meaningless heel turn.

I'm at the point where I'm so sick of Brock being untouchable that I not only want Ambrose to go over, I want Brock to successfully keep Dean from ever hitting him with a weapon, but Dean STILL wins just by outlasting and outwitting The Beast.
Yeah, I want Dean to go over 100% Clean.

I think he gets more out of a bloody near loss than he does a win

Yes, Ambrose needs the win. And WWE's future needs Ambrose. Brock will be fine.

I think he gets more out of a bloody near loss than he does a win No. He's had enough "almost but not quite" moments under his belt. He needs the big singles win.

Sure, as long as they make it look believable, I don't see why not.

I could go either way. I love Lesnar being this force of nature who doesn't comply to typical physical human limitations. Although I'd also be fine with an Ambrose win so long as it's either an over the top, throw everything at him, overkill scenario, or he does it by the skin of his teeth. At the end of the match Brock still should look like someone who nothing short of a convoy of tanks firing simultaneously in his direction can be kept down.

As long as it's a bloody, brutal match where both guys pull out all the stops, I'm fine with Ambrose winning.
