Whoever thought that making a giant blue rock monster be a soft-spoken character who asks about pamphlets and such... I want to thank them for making a really funny character happen.

On a side note, at least we finally got to see Stan Lee play a villain (kind of).

A fantastic, fun movie, and a definite upper-tier MCU movie. Saw it with a friend, and I'll probably see it again with my folks because they want to see it too. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I know my Mom will mark out because "Immigrant Song" is in the actual movie, and plays twice. {Spoiler}I love how that's the song that comes on whenever it comes time for Thor to put the hammer down, so to speak (probably not as much during the second time it's played, but you get the picture).

Regarding that Avengers trailer, Thor has both of his eyes right? So IDK what's going to happen with that trailer.
Honestly, I'm on the fence about this movie. I think it's the best one in the Thor trilogy, but there was just too much comedy for me. At this point, we're gearing up for Thanos. Unless Black Panther involves Thanos in someway as a end credit scene, this is the last movie before Infinity War.

It’s probably why he had his eye in all the commercials and trailers where he didn’t have his eye in. Promotional material and doesn’t spoil stuff for the movie not out yet. So he’ll probably have they eye patch put in for the movie.

I know I know, and while Panther is in the MCU, it's a completely different movie than the rest. Thor is like the last link to Infinity War. I mean technically all the movies have led up to Infinity War but we're at the doorstep to Avengers 3 and they went the comedy route a bit too much.

One of my main gripes with this film is the over reliance on comedy when it should be getting serious, darker, and emotional. I think that's why I appreciate Guardians Vol 2. so much more. It had a lot of humor and quite a bit of it forced, however, once it entered into the emotional aspect towards the end it was amazing.

Black Panther isn't going to be full of laughs, and Infinity War is going to see a lot of beloved characters suffer and quite likely die, so this feels more like a last hurrah.

This was like that last breath before you plunge into the ocean because Black Panther is not something full of laughs and jokes we already know despair and mayhem is about to rain down in Infinity War

2nd viewing today. something i noticed. at the end of Age Of Ultron, Fury said that the Hulk and Quinjet had crashed in the South Pacific. now he's been on Sakaar. what gives? he was in the air when he got sucked into the "collasping neutron star inside an Einstein-Rosen Bridge." did any body ever hear an explantion? and don't say a wizard did it!

Minor spoiler: Depending on how closely A:IW mirrors the Infinity Gauntlet comic, Thor’s eyepatch (as well as a lot of other things) could be dealt with pretty quickly.

Saw it last night with my uncle. Enjoyed it a lot.
As far as compelling MCU villains go, I thought Hela was on par with Ego, but pretty far behind Vulture.

Went to an EXCLUSIVE screening earlier today (actually, I just happened to be the only person in the theater). Was a lot of fun. I actually didn't mind the jokes too much. I thought Skurge with a Shake Weight was stupid, but otherwise the film balanced the humor and more serious stuff well. {Spoiler}She doesn't show up at all in the movie, so it's possible she was away from Asgard, but the idea that Sif could have totally suffered an off-camera death bums me out. I love Sif.

Saw it and Justice League back-to-back and...
Like, the movie's plenty watchable and it's better than Thor 2 for sure, but maaaaaaaaaan I had some issues with it. Primarily with how it can't seem to ever just let a moment be a moment without a stupid joke and how much it just feels like two separate movies they just crammed together because the Hela one didn't have enough plot to carry a whole movie and the Grandmaster one didn't have a real way to give it a payoff.
That said I might dislike it more on a second viewing if I were to watch it again since it was just me and my brother in there and we were pretty much free to just talk through the whole thing and trade back and forth on what we did or didn't like about it.
