Still a very good showing. Even the song I ranked last was good.
One thing I found particularly surprising about this sing-off is that I have no idea who sent in what. I've noticed patterns in the players' tastes for a few rounds now and so I have been able to correctly guess who sent at least some of the songs, but not here.

I find it a bit hard to believe that Z-A was running out of songs, but what a great Season for him. Z-A's a fantastic player and judge as well.
I had the rankings as:
Fiona Apple - "Werewolf"
The National - "Terrible Love"
The White Stripes - "Icky Thump"
David Bowie - "Lets Dance"
All four were great picks. Originally had Terrible Love as my preferred song and it's one of my favorite songs this season. That era from Fiona Apple, though, is unbelievable and I had to go with it. Really went back and forth with the White Stripes pick but they are just a bit too overexposed for me at this point. Bowie was used before and I prefer his more experimental stuff.
But each song was very strong. The music prowess on display here is as high as it should be. Waffle and ZA showed they are amazing competitors and both could have proved stiff competition for Peg and Rad. This time, Waffle got the third spot, but it was so very close.

ROUND 30: Who Are YouThese FOUR songs will play out sort of like an introduction or a bio. 1 Song that features a name (first or last or both) in the lyrics or title 1 Song from the year the Contestant was born 1 Song that features a city, state, or country in the title or lyrics 1 Song that features or references an occupation in the title or lyrics Aside from the second one (which has to actually be your year) the other 3 themes don't specifically need to pertain to yourself, or any specific person really. It can be any song that fits those themes, and it could end up like some sort of fun Mad Libs type thing. |

A lot of 80's songs got digitally remastered in the early aughts and sometimes the uploaders of clips on youtube just assume that is the year they came out. |
