I'm happy for him because of his Mom, but that felt more like an outside the game vote than based fully on the game he played. Adam didn't play exceptionally enough to warrant a full sweep of the jury. At least not IMO.

Happy for Adam, but not over Dave not winning, and I think I would've voted Ken actually. Deserving winner, but a clean sweep doesn't do this epic season justice.

Sandra going 3 for 3 is likely an impossible pipe dream, but damn if I won't be here rooting for it.
Some really excellent players are going to get shots to finally get the big win next season. Should be fun.

To play what's (probably) the hardest game on TV and come out three times a millionaire is practically unfathomable odds.

I think of the three finalists, Adam was the most deserving based on game play. You can argue that Hannah was too often a passenger (whereas Adam was a catalyst behind big moves) and that Ken, whose supposed calling card was loyalty, threw that away in eliminating David. All told, though, this was an excellent season. And, FYI, if you want to know who the full cast for Game Changers is, it's already out there: {Spoiler}Mana tribe: Caleb, Varner, Malcolm, Tony, Troyzan, Aubry, Ciera, Michaela and Sandra
Nuku tribe: Andrea, Cirie, Debbie, Sarah (Lacina), Sierra, Brad Culpepper, JT, Ozzy, Tai and Zeke
I'm pulling for Zeke

I'm pulling for Zeke {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I'm confused by something. If Zeke is in this season, then why didn't Jeff mention him at the finale along with Michaela? He mentioned she was in, and I'm a bit surprised he didn't do the same for him.

Feel bad that Hannah who controlled a lot more of the game then either Ken or Adam doesn't really get a single vote. It's possible that the edit hid some flaws with her and Ken's social game or she personally attacked some jurors or something but Chris's just straight out assumption that Adam was the reason Ken voted for Dave seemed kinda sexist as Hannah was the one working on his vote. And I hate that Bret's jealousy of Ken and his dismissive of Ken and Hannah and calling them crazy because they were taking an approach that didn't benefit him and his bullying of Dave was treated almost non existent at the reunion and they tried to make it about him being a nice guy.

I don't think Adam got Jay to use his idol because of revealing the stuff about his mother. That's a really weird way to take that. I think Jay knew he was on the chopping block any time he didn't win immunity, heard his name come up, and didn't want to go home wigh an idol in his pocket. He could have not used it knowing everyone assumes he would, but it would be a GIGANTIC risk at this point with his lack of connections in the group. Adam, for all his faults, IS the only guy who truly understood the last three eliminations that David is going to win this game (save for Jay making a crazy run.) Hannah is pretty much Homer Simpson with both his hands stuck in vending machines. Adam is like "He's gonna beat any of us in the end." to which Hannah replies "Your point being?" If Hannah's best move is saving someone who has unquestionably played a better and more forefront game than her, then she deserves to lose. I agree with you about Ken. But I also think he wins against Hannah and Adam. Not "weird" at all. Adam point blank tells Jay 'you need to use your idol tonight' then reveals a secret about his mom that gets Jay to cry. Subtly saying "I am telling the truth you really should use that idol would a guy who has a mom with cancer really lie to you?" And Adam did lie, beautifully. If nothing else comes from this mostly-male F6 I hope it all comes down to Jay David and Adam because honestly I think it would be the 3 best players ever in a 1st-time-players' season in 33 Survivor seasons. The final jury arguments would be insane and I really don't know who would/should win since all 3 guys have played their hearts out. This is why the Final 6 tradition works for a finale. I WISH it woulda been these 3, David and Jay against Adam's story I think the jury would've been stunlockeddd.... what a season for personal stories tbh And SUNDAY my god, what a MILF (Jay says "You're so hot!" at the reunion after her spiel, well said good boy) AND... if they bring back Sandra, bring back Russell Hantz for a fourth season, too. They were bitter rivals on the Villains tribe in HvV, let's re-ignite that rivalry playaz.

Anybody else not a fan of returning champions?
I just think once you've won, that should be enough.
Now if you wanted to do an all-sole Survivor season, that'd be cool, but until then, I'd rather non-victors competing.

I always say that anybody who wins deserves it but I must say I'd been much happier if the jury wasn't so pre-decided as this one. I could never give my vote to someone who was lobbed such softballs, and I think Chris did his profession a disservice, lawyers always seem to be the worst jurors when I'd expect they'd be the best at it. Then again, he didn't go up as a lawyer but as he said as an advocate.

Finally watched the finale, because Amazon is such a fun place to work this time of year. Gutted by the finale. Worst ever? I've had many I've been less invested in, but none where I felt horrible for the winner. It seemed like everybody lost this year. Adam played well enough to win, but it just seems like small potatoes to him. What should be one of the best moments of his life marred by probably his worst.
I don't think he deserved a unanimous win, but he was the best left. He drove the bus so to speak on getting the two big dogs out. I must say, I was much less interested in the game after those guys went out. Hannah, man. She did make moves, but she was always the last one in and didn't dictate the game much if at all at the end. Ken, what the fudge? He played one of the most straight-up games ever, just to throw it away at the end to get David out. Which is the right move, but it takes his one calling card out. He could have stood up there with David and talked about how he dominated at challenges and played an honest game, but nope. Also, I do buy him being socially awkward as he was unbelievably passive at final tribal. He could have fared better if he just held up a sign saying "Single father, donations accepted." Adam played better than the two, but wow, did their lack of take charge make him look even better.
They brought back Ozzy just to tease him a win again. At this point, he could just be a staple of Survivor every season, and it would work out for everybody. He has fans, he loves it out there, and has a 0.0 shot at ever winning.

Okay, okay, let's debate the real issue here: will the Legacy Advantage join the Medallion of Power and the talking conch shell from season 1 in the Survivor prop closet of failed ideas?

Yeah it was just the same as an immunity idol. Add redemption island and the outcast twist from pear islands as well
