Sketching done for the Ramsay/Jericho/Jovi thing.
Why is that almost every request so far has made me go "I can't believe I'm doing this" as I was drawing it?
Not that that's a bad thing.

his name is Baron Von Awesome: he wears a top hat and has a monocle (apologies for another monocle pic). Half of his face has the flesh ripped, showing a skull. he has Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from Return Of The Jedi and is dueling with Rey (please not Mysterio) can you please bring this awesome picture to life? love your artstyle And here it is! What a piece for the first request to focus on human beings: Full size: neije.deviantart.com/art/Sketch-Challenge-Baron-Von-Awesome-vs-Rey-641017475awesome stuff man, turned out even better than I imagined it. Fantastic work, and thank you for doing my random request..... Baron's been my CAW for about a decade and you nailed it 100%. And even without seeing the movie, you got Rey pretty spot on your art is now my desktop wallpaper. anything I could bribe you with to color the 2 lightsaber blades some day whenever you're completely bored?

Bon Jovi, Chris Jericho, and Gordon Ramsay trying on skinny jeans, scarves, and sweaters together in front of a mirror at a clothing store. I'm still confused as to why you asked for something so specific or how the thought even came to your mind (it's a fetish thing, isn't it?) but there it is! Actually I just wanted to push how absurd these ideas are to see if ya could pull it off. I'm impressed with your skill man. That pig I did is probably as good as I can really do.

Your facial expressions are very good. They're not hyper realistic or excessively cartoony, which is a good middle ground if you're aiming for comic book style art.

Very happy you're saying that as I take great pride in the expressions I draw and it's one of the things people have been complimenting my art on even when I was just starting to draw regularly, so I think it's one of my strong suits. I'll admit I'm not very good at backgrounds and the perspective is usually weird, but facial expressions, I consider that to be my asset. And yeah, my philosophy when drawing them is to make the characters slightly overact so that their expressions are immediately recognizable but while still keeping it somewhat realistic so it still feels believable (this is part of the reason I'm not a fan of works that suddenly have their characters go super-deformed when they're usually at least semi-realistic). In general, I feel what really helps comics and sketches in general feel like they're in motion despite, by design, being static images, is to make the characters look like they're in the middle of an action (as opposed to making it look like they're posing for a picture). That way you can infer how the movement started and how it's going to end just from looking at it, you almost subliminally fill in the gaps between panels. And the same goes for facial expressions.

Regarding super deformed expressions, I don't mind them if that's the stylistic choice the artist or animators want, like the first Teen Titans show, but I get what you mean. I think that's a reason I like artists like Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) and Neal Adams (various American comics) so much, their characters are heavily detailed and realistically proportioned but you can still tell how they usually feel without dialogue specifying it.

These are all excellent. Love catching up on this thread for the whacky ideas and then seeming them drawn to reality. Good stuff!

Also Draw a Paintypus! And here it is. Your version was called "Paintypus" because it was made in MS Paint, mine is called "Paintypus" because of the unbearable, agonizing pain it constantly feels, every breath it draws serving only to remind it that it has yet again been denied the sweet release of death. Also, only one request left befaore I've gone through my backlog so feel free to ask some more! Full size: neije.deviantart.com/art/Sketch-Challenge-Paintypus-641769061I still smile every time I unlock my computer, pure perfection on my Baron/Rey pic SsnakeBite. can't thank you enough I feel extremely flattered that you like it so much! As for colouring the lightsabers... I dunno, maybe? Never say never. Except for those two times I said it.

I'd like to kindly request a picture of the three pictured above: Skye, Finn, and Ava from my web novel Singularity, which everybody can read here: twitter.com/MarcQuill/media(Basically, a picture of the three posing above)

Very nice work, SsnakeBite. I do have one request, hopefully it's not too challenging.
I want a picture of Lupin the Third, Mega Man, and Sonic the Hedgehog in action poses, like if they're on a movie poster.

Awesome Glad you like it and I find it both flattering and hilarious that you replaced your avatar with it. If I'd known, I would have given it a thicker outline so it's easier to see. I'd like to kindly request a picture of the three pictured above: Skye, Finn, and Ava from my web novel Singularity, which everybody can read here: twitter.com/MarcQuill/media(Basically, a picture of the three posing above) Dat plug, tho. But seriously, should be interesting. I do have to ask, I'm a bit curious about Skye's physical build. I checked your site quickly to get an idea of how they're supposed to look (as the picture only shows them from the chest up) and she's apparently 225 lbs, but in your screenshots, she doesn't look bigger than average and in fact, in some of them she looks rather thin. Now, her bio also mentions she's been experimented on so I wonder, is she supposed to be of average build but be heavier than she looks because of it? Very nice work, SsnakeBite. I do have one request, hopefully it's not too challenging. I want a picture of Lupin the Third, Mega Man, and Sonic the Hedgehog in action poses, like if they're on a movie poster. Well, I suppose it's a rite of passage for everyone on DeviantArt to draw Sonic fan art.

I imagine her looking muscular, but like an Olympic sprinter rather than a bodybuilder.
