I didn't like seeing Donny go. But there's a Little Lebowski on the way.

I didn't like seeing Donny go. But there's a Little Lebowski on the way. I guess that's the way the whole durned human comedy keeps perpetuating itself down through the generations, westward the wagons, across the sands of time....ah look at me. I'm rambling again.

Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. If you've seen it, you know why.

Han Solo in The Force Awakens. Just....f*** you for taking away from us an eventual Han & Luke reunion, and Han & Lando reunion. Same. I wasn't mad at the idea of killing Han, but doing it without getting to see him on screen with Luke again sucked hard. The rest of my list would be: - Cyclops in X-Men 3. You tell a story that revolves around Jean Grey returning and becoming evil and eventually having to die and you take Scott out of said story? Are you f***ing joking? X3 should have been his moment to shine, rather than another Wolverine snoozefest. - Wash in Serenity. It just felt like it was done for the sake of it, which is pretty much Joss Whedon's specialty. He'd already killed Shepherd Book in a way that really benefit the story and didn't feel cheap, but then goes and pulls that crap with Wash. He basically ruined Zoe's life just to shock the audience. - Jimmy Olsen in Batman v Superman. Reason 23,597 Zack Snyder should never be allowed to touch pre-existing franchises again.

Libby who was Ellen Page's character in 'Super' I know it was supposed to be a dark comedy. But that moment just killed the mood completely. She was just a great insane character and out of nowhere, she's gone. That was one of my favorite film deaths ever, it was just done to absolute perfection. A great example of subverting the "pretty girls have pretty deaths" trope, and the reveal was spectacular. You know she's been hit, but even after how crazy the movie was, I was still kind of expecting her to have the typical teeny bullet hole with the dribble of blood. But then he turns her over, and she looks like THAT... Don't get me wrong, I loved the character, and was sad to lose her. But the way it was done, at least to me, was done in such a way that maximized the takeaway, and made it all worth it. I don't really watch a lot of movies, so I don't have a lot to base it on, but to me, it was one of the best uses of gore to heighten the emotional return.

Dr. Neville in I Am Legend. Just because the original ending was better than that Focus Group Test crap. Over here in Korea the ending where he lives is canon.

Reason 23,597 Zack Snyder should never be allowed to touch pre-existing franchises again.I remember seeing that in the theater, and his name isn't actually mentioned. I was thinking "Wait, that wasn't the Jimmy Olsen appearance, was it? It couldn't have been." Because I heard about him being in the film, and granted it's not his movie, but I figured he'd get more to do than that. Jeez. I was talking with a friend about Supergirl and the conversation led to him saying he thought Mehcad Brooks (he doesn't have an issue with the race change) was too pretty-boy to believably play Jimmy. I told him I'd rather have a bishonen Jimmy Olsen over one that gets unceremoniously ganked in the first ten minutes.

Nice to see me asking people to put spoiler tags on films released in the last year was completely pointless.

She was just a great insane character and out of nowhere, she's gone. That was a really jarring death, especially that hole in her head. Not all what I expected, despite all the craziness throughout the film.

Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. If you've seen it, you know why. His death was anti-climatic, but it was better than Talia Al Ghul's death five minutes later lol.

Everyone except Thomas Jane's character at the end of The Mist. It kind of ruined that movie for me.

Glad to see others were as bothered about Norrington in PotC: World's End as I was.
Really felt like a complete giving up moment, having written themselves into a bit of a corner (story of that trilogy as a whole, really) and just ruthlessly starting to chop away loose ends. Real character arc poential wasted.

Johnny Cage in MK2. Horrible movie regardless and it wasn't the original actor but it got the movie off to a piss-poor start to kill the original movie's fan favorite.

I really liked the movie other than that part and it was much much better than previous third installments of a trilogy in the comic book genre (Spider Man 3, X-Men the Last Stand, etc.). It definitely had a better conclusion than those two movies lol.

X3 should have been his moment to shine, rather than another Wolverine snoozefest. What's worse is it was done solely out of spite. Like most of the movie.

Bruce Willis' character in Armageddon. Sure, he saved the Earth from an Asteroid, but he did doing so. Heroes normally don't die. if at all!! Bloody film traumatised me and i tend to avoid it like the plague whenever its on TV.
