Assuming that Prometheus is somebody from Oliver's past and maybe even somebody we've met before, only Tommy makes sense, right? But I dunno how you'd explain that he's still alive.

He just has to be there for the reveal, and scenes without the mask. He doesn't have to be the actor in costume the entire time. |

It's not unheard of, but best case scenario they'd get to use him for an episode or two I'm guessing. But, I have no idea what Chicago PD is, and have no idea what his role is like on that show. I don't think it's Robert - where would he have learned to fight like that? Plus wasn't there a scene where Artemis cut Prometheus arm on the train fight and he instantly healed? Was like a split second thing. Whoever it was must have been revived by the Pit if I saw what I think I saw.

I was thinking - Moira Queen knew about the list too - even had a list of her own that Walter found. What if it's someone we don't know that was part of this group that was trying to get the undertaking to happen? Just...please not Malcolm Merlyn...surprised we haven't seen him this season yet.

I wouldn't say you HAVE to watch season 4, but if there's like a season recap video around i'd give it a look if you want to see where Ollie is mentally at this season after what happened. But it's not really necessary, they don't really mention what happened last season apart from one major thing and how that's bringing some internal conflict to Ollie, wondering if he's right to be going back to his aggressive early season attitude because of that. |

Season 4's tone never really changes so if you hated it enough to quit I wouldn't force myself to try and watch it. Find a youtube recap video or just read the plots of the last 3-4 episodes on Wiki if you want to be up to date.
But yes, absolutely catch up on this season. It took a major change in direction and even though I didn't dislike it last year, it feels so fresh right now.

Arrow has drastically improved from last season. It's worth reading a recap of Season 4 just to get an idea of where the plot is, but if you didn't like it I wouldn't really slog through it.

I have a feeling that whoever Prometheus turns out to be will be the big Flashpoint change for Arrow. Aside from Diggle going from having a daughter to having a son and Oliver using the Season 1 attire again, there hasn't been any big changes, right? If I had to guess, I'd say it's either Shado or Yao Fei. I guess it could be Slade, but I doubt they'd write off an entire season and not have him become Deathstroke.
Then again, maybe seasons 2 and 3 never happen in this timeline. 4 obviously does as they mention events from it, but we haven't seen Malcolm and they reference season 1 a lot, so... maybe?

Well well well what a twist ending that was to this weeks episode. Who'd have thought that {Spoiler}Evelyn would be in league with Prometheus?? I kind of think it's a recent thing though, as they did fight recently when Oliver wasn't even there, and maybe it's been as recent as finding out Oliver had the list from Season 1. Good episode though, love Vigilante. Really don't trust that reporter chick that Ollie's going out with, and i'm actually surprised he does after she shit on his decisions as Mayor a few weeks ago. Really wondering what she's gonna do with that photo she was given of Ollie in the Bratva a few weeks ago. Sooner or later, because of her it's gonna come out that Ollie wasn't on that island the whole time he said he was. |
