Not saying anything on the other side of this, but in defense here: To the people claiming "well, it may be an inside joke with No Way Jose and not Mandy Rose shaming a black person with natural hair":
The original plane ride had the person with the Afro showing up vaguely above the seat cover as it is.
Mandy Rose is 5'4''. No Way Jose is 6'3'', before his Afro.
If the person in this picture was No Way Jose, we'd have seen much more of his head than we saw there just because of how tall he is (and how much taller than Mandy he is).
This absolutely had to be a different person, so thus it probably was NOT an inside joke.

I kind of regret making a speculation like that especially when I said we shouldn't really jump into conclusions yet. And to the people claiming that come on man, I'm the only one who said that literally the post above you lol. You can just say it's me.

Please read the big bolded part and keep in mind the conext of the conversation. Please. Context makes a huge difference. It's also one of the signature hairstlyes Kylie from that family (if I put their surname entire posts won't show up because I have a filter that blocks news of them out)I find her stealing Kylie J's hairstyle to be fairly plausible considering we already had Alicia Fox being a Rihanna ripoff for about 3 years And wherever did Kylie, a white girl from a family full of white women known for dating black men, get the idea for that hair style? ...See what I'm getting at here?

Someone's going to need to attend a seminar on the appropriate use of social media in the near future. The first lesson should be that if you are in WWE, you can't be on social media. It's bad enough these days that morons seem to post every brainless thought they have online, but then you also get people posting stuff online that undermine their characters. Even Stephanie is guilty of that. If WWE does allow social media accounts, they should be run in-character by WWE staffers who should post kayfabe messages which support ongoing storylines and characters.

If simply taking something that's popular from another culture is cultural appropriation, why the hell do some people think it's so bad? It doesn't hurt anyone or anything. People have been sharing culture throughout all history. Some white girls wearing braids isn't gonna harm black culture the least bit. For the exact same reason people got pissed off when Miley Cyrus started twerking and it became cool when black folk had been doing it for years and years and it was considered trashy/ghetto. It's the very clear message that a tradition/look/whatever has to be associated with whiteness to be acceptable by the general population. It's the clear sign of white supremacy that exists in American culture. As a black person, it makes you feel pretty shitty. Your culture doesn't matter until white people says it matters. Hi Magic I see the point you are making. One group does something and it's seen as silly/stupid/trashy, all of a sudden another group starts to do the same thing and all of a sudden it's seen as acceptable and great. Now as a white European and forgive any ignorance on my part but does that mean in America if a white person wears braids or takes something from black culture, that it is seen as wrong or a bad thing to do. If some white girl thought braids was an awesome part of black culture and looked great and decided to style her hair in that way, would that be held against her? To me I would have thought it would be seen as more of a sign of respect. I mean in Europe I have never heard of outrage over something like this and I've seen people of all races with braided hair. I mean I've heard people say white people shouldn't braid their hair as it doesn't suit them but never have I heard anyone be accused of racism because of their style of hair. Just trying to get a better understanding of this subject.

Isn't Mandy of Irish heritage?
Braided hair has been a thing associated with Irish culture since the celts

This whole thing reminds me of the controversy and huge public outcry from Scottish people over Roddy Piper wearing a kilt.
Oh, wait. We didn't care. Funny that.

She could be the biggest racist in the world, but the point being made here is that her picture was so vague in its intent that to automatically assume it is racist comes off like a huge overreaction. This isn't Hogan saying the N word and saying he's racist.
I generally agree that most non black people do not understand a lot of the little things that are offensive, but getting upset about that picture without knowing what the heck she was implying is a waste. There are people being killed by police for being black. Mandy Rose, whoever the hell she is, doesn't deserve this much attention.

I don't know what to say or how to say it, as I feel it will be misunderstood or taken out of context. I understand the appropriation thing. Its a double standard and it sucks. But I don't think that has anything to do with the OP or Mandy Rose, in this case. Her having a double braid also has nothing to do with the photo in question. I know many people in my podunk town that listen to rap, play the "I have black friends" card, and come out with some of the most racist stuff ever said. I also know stereotypical rednecks that one could look at and think "that dude's a racist" and they have friends of all races and ethnicities.
Point being, to say that she posted a photo of someone with "a black woman's hair" and that she's being racist, etc. is a racial assumption by the person that posted that article. I'm white as white can get. My dad has dark brown, almost black hair and had an afro in the 70's. There is nothing outside of a tuft of hair that proves that the person in front of her is a male, a female, black, white, brown, orange or any other color.
Also, I'm hopping on the "No Way Jose" train, based on the "third time today" caption in the photo.
Feel free to flame away, call me a racist, or whatever the like.

You know there are certain hard rules in life:
1) Always pay your taxes.
2) Don't tug on superman's cape
3) Never mess with a black woman's hair
