Have they ever shown any interest in Syuri? She's great. This is great news for the WWE, they hire the best male wrestlers in the world so why not the best female? Asuka was a great start, Io and Hojo are nearly up there with her. {Spoiler}Hojo going sucks for LU.

Having gone to most of Lucha Underground's Season 3 tapings, I can divulge that the trio was only there for one weekend of tapings. They were never a full-time thing.
They came in for their part of the storyline. KILLED IT! (Seriously, their matches will blow your mind) ...and left.

No hyperbole, I think Hojo's elbow drop is the second best in pro wrestling history, with only the Macho Man himself taking top honors. I do worry about the long-term effect of doing the move that way, though.

She'll do it anywhere - I even saw her do it in a small hipster bar in Tooting, South London. That elbow drop is amazing.

I'm right there with you brother. Plus Io is absolutely amazing. Haven't heard much of Hojo, but based on responses I'm all,for her signing as well should she choose. Best elbow drop in the game: I've always though that's exactly how an elbow drop should be done, but the one time I tried it I swung my legs too high and landed head first. I'm glad someone worked it out.

In talking about Flying Elbows, shout out to Perry Saturn. His air time was insane.

If you didn't hire Japanese wrestlers based on them modeling bikinis, you'd never hire Japanese wrestlers. ALL of their women's talent do this. Even Asuka. Even Nakamura.

ESPECIALLY Nakamura. {Spoiler}Of course I don't have an image of that but if Shinsuke Nakamura wanted to model a bikini, are you going to tell him no?

Inoki's son works for WWE? Bastard almost ruined New Japan. I feel that is more related to IGF than working for wwe. Otherwise, we will be already seeing MMA matches on raw

Guess Asuka won't be lonely anymore. I previously said that if Asuka was a success, WWE would try to hire more joshi wrestlers. And she is an overwhelming success, here comes the offers to top level talent. I hope they sent an offer to Makoto since it's been her dream goal of being a WWE Diva. She may not get to be a Diva but that other half of her dream is realistc now.

Apparently, WWE are also looking at Makoto, Hikaru Shida and Hiroyo Matsumoto. I assume they'd be coming in for the women's tourney next year, rather than full-time contracts.
Sarah Stock has obviously been sharing her joshi tapes in the PC.

Sarah Stock has obviously been sharing her joshi tapes in the PC. Have only seen limited Stardom stuff (Shirai, Hojo, Iwatani, Bito recently). Any suggestions for matches for the three you mentioned? Would like to be ahead of the curve rather than cramming matches in a couple weeks before they potentially debut like I did when Kana/Asuka showed up.

Would like to be ahead of the curve rather than cramming matches in a couple weeks before they potentially debut like I did when Kana/Asuka showed up. Matsumoto is the best of the three. She had a good match with Hojo this year on the Kobashi produce show in June, and a fine match with Mayu in Stardom. Not sure if it's on the usual streaming sites. She's worked for Shimmer in the past, but I haven't seen much of their shows TBH. Shida works best in a tag team IMO, so try to track down her stuff with Syuri. She's solid, but there are better wrestlers out there. She's got a good look though, which WWE finds important. Makoto is pretty average and is a better tag wrestler than singles, but again, she's got a good look. Her stuff in Reina and Wave is probably her best. I'm surprised they haven't approached Arisa Nakajima or Meiko Satomura. Meiko is arguably better than Asuka and could fit that Tajiri grizzled veteran role. Nakajima is a personal favourite, and she has been shedding all of her titles recently... Heck, bring in her tag partner Tsukasa Fujimoto as well.

Was planning on getting Stardom World for a few months to binge watch as much as I could. You've given some excellent suggestions. Side note: I've watched a few of (then) Kana's matches against Syuri (Smash I think). Pretty good stuff there, too, which I'm sure you're aware of.

For whoever asked about WWE bringing Io's sister Mio in, only if they want a female ref, cause Mio retired in 2015 and has been reffing since. I also find it funny that Io goes to WWE based on Kana asking her, since Io was the one who quit Triple Tails in order to get out of her shadow.
Also, Simon Inoki isn't really Antonio Inoki's son. He's, however, his son-in-law.
And yes, Nakamura would totally be gorgeous in a bikini. As would Tanahashi. And Okada. And Naito. And Liger.

Meltzer is now reporting that both Io and Kairi have decided to stay in Stardom in order to help it grow.
