Hojo will wrestle her last match in Stardom tomorrow when she reunites with Threedom (herself, Mayu Iwatani and the now heel Io Shirai) for one night only against HZK, Hiromi Mimura and Jungle Kyona.

I do wonder if Kairi will keep her "Pirate Princess" motif when she debuts in the Women's tourney/NXT or does Rossy owns that gimmick.

Still holding hope Io does not sign (if she appears in the tourament that is fine) but I would prefer her to stay with Stardom ...and selfishly want her back in the temple.
Hope all the best Kairi though because this is all apparently at the behest of Nakamura who has been recruiting her to WWE so we will see.

I don't know what Hikuru Shida is doing these days but when she debuted in Shimmer three years ago I was blown away by her. She looks like a star and with her kendo stick she'd be a great fit. As for the other maybe Leon or Arisa Nakajima? The good thing with the gimmick is that they can keep replacing them for more people in the Triad. |

In talking about Flying Elbows, shout out to Perry Saturn. His air time was insane. On the subject of flying elbows, I'm going to throw Eric Young's name in there also. His is damm-near perfect in my opinion. |

Does Syuri still wrestle? Only saw her a handful of times but did enjoy her work.
Was hoping SHIMMER would grab her a few years ago when they got Shida but they didn't.

But they have done a really good job of not giving foreign wrestlers stupid ass gimmicks lately. If they show the Japanese wrestling world if they come work in the states for WWE they'll be treated properly and pushed that's a big deal. If anything it gives the wrestlers more negotiating power with NJPW not to lowball them. I still to this day believe one of the biggest reasons NJPW got super pissed WWE signed away several of their guys was more that they realized WWE having interest in their guys meant they were gonna have to give out more money. I mean cause at this point what stops a guy like Okada from going if you don't give me this I'll go to WWE. When in the past it wasn't a believable option. |
