The arena looks great but it doesn't fit Southpaw at allll. Also, I need to get some measurements, but just looking at the pool that was around ringside, I'd estimate it was about a half mile across and about as deep as the Marianas trench. When they pointed it out during the nL stream, it was...jarring. All this said, I think the DLC wasn't that bad. It's an interesting concept, there's some cool parts you get from it, there were some good jokes in it, and they touched some good reference points in it (Like Lance Catamaran not being there because he was focusing on being an "actor"), but again, it felt more like what the writers at VisCon THOUGHT Southpaw was like instead of what it actually was. It felt like a parody of a parody, and that's why it felt so disjointed at the end. I really have no feelings towards Empire Of Tomorrow at all, coming off of all this, it sounds like it's just gonna be Tron with WWE wrestlers, and an excuse to have everything neon'ed up like crazy. No expectations from here on out. On the note of the arena, they already had a really good run down high school gym arena in the game from MyCareer, so it's clear they didn't understand what kind of arena would be fitting for "Southpaw." |

I am so pissed off now I just got the Southpaw DLC Characters then went into Universe and I try to edit a match the game crashes every fricking time I hate 2K with a passion.

Just thinking about it again, I think what annoyed me was that it didn’t feel like 80s wrestling like Southpaw did. It was just...cliches, I guess. Southpaw would likely go bankrupt just buying one of those rubber ducks, based on how they filmed and shot. |

So did this new patch fix any of the game's issues? More particularly, did it fix the custom belts and face scans problems? Those seem to be the two big ones still lingering.

For custom belts (and CAWs) downloading ones made after the latest patch has them intact without missing logos.

Again, if WWE and Visual Concepts wanted to make their own spin on GLOW, they could have just made their own spin on it; they just needed to have come up with their own name for this fictional company (and I'm aware that fake names, especially good ones, are hard, but better to put in an afternoon brainstorming that just taking something else you had lying around). The appeal of Southpaw was that it was low budget and low rent, with the people involved being pretty incompetent at just about everything. All this that they made was not what Southpaw Regional Wrestling stood for. Maybe if somebody won the lottery and pissed it all for one show, perhaps, but in story, the company was screwed because nobody looked at a calendar and realized that 1987 wasn't a leap year, yet there's an arena based off of a show for 1987 that likely would have taken place in the summer. |

So I was considering making a proper Southpaw roster, since there is at least the parts for it, but since you can't edit hair it'll have to be Chad2Badd after he lost a hair v hair match to Tex. Which actually kinda works since booking a hair v hair match where one of the competitors is bald seems like something Southpaw would do.
