These days I usually avoid A Christmas Story. I don't think I've ever been as burned out/sick of a movie as I am that one. Well it does have a sequel (ducking) technically multiple en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Summer_Story

Shame on me! Another classic I forgot was Scrooged. Although I think that movie is in general overlooked.

Dragnet, where they are trying to find the missing Christ child from a church nativity scene. (The ending will make anybody tear up.) Every Jack Webb program has this story. A lot of Dragnet episodes are recycled from "Pat Novak For Hire" and "Pete Kelly's Blues" radio episodes he starred in. There's another I can't remember because they rarely play them, but he starred in that also.
"It's A Bundyful Life" Married...With Children episode where Sam Kinison is Al's guardian angel. Man, I bust out laughing every time. I miss Sam so much when I see this.

Oh I wasn't even thinking about MST3K
Santa Claus (a very strange Mexican kids movie which pits Santa vs a devil named Pitch. Santa lives in space, next to Merlin) is an annual tradition at my house

Home Alone Jingle All The Way Holiday Inn White Christmas Scrooged Christmas Vacation Die Hard Gremlins Charlie Brown/Muppets/Garfield specials I loved White Christmas, but found Holiday Inn to just be dreadful even ignoring the awful blackface number (which I was going to post a video of but it is not easy to find)

tv episode? some have been mentioned in blackadder, father ted, this one wasn't mentioned so far i'd say gremlins (it's more a Christmas movie as gizmo is given as a present but takes place before/during/after Christmas.) and shrek 1 & 2 as they are usually on tv ( shrek 2 reminds me of an old job and one of my former co-workers who is no longer with us.)

I love the movie otherwise, probably because I really like Fred Astaire.

I got a soft spot for Dr Who's Last Christmas, take Nightmare on Elm Street, Aliens, Inception, Gift of The Magi and Mircle on 34th Street and that's the episode.
