This show is my new obsession....the first 2 seasons are on Netflix and I binge watched them in 3 days. I can't even remember the last time I was so hooked on something.
Apparently it's based on a DC comic and is made by the same people who made Veronica Mars which I never watched but I think I'm going to now. This show hits that old dusty Buffy trigger. It's dark and funny and a case of the week buddy cop show all in one with zombies!
I think my favorite part is the lore that when a zombie eats someone's brain they take on the memories and strongest personality traits of the person they ate.
Comes in handy for solving murders and is funny as hell. I give tons of credit to Rose McIver who plays the main character Olivia she basically has to play a different version of her character every single episode.
Anyone else watching this?
Season 3 apparently starts early next year....I don't wanna wait! I already need my fix!

Without knowing what the show is about.I'm assuming it is a show where Apple finally goes to far and tries to commercialize the undead.

It ended kinda weird and since I haven't seen the show I dont know if it follows it at all.

Doesn't follow to closely from my understanding. off the top of my head the main character's name and occupation have been changed for instance.

Yeah, I like it. I was pleasantly surprised it got renewed for season 3, ratings were kinda iffy. Liked singer Rob Thomas getting killed on a show created by a different Rob Thomas, haha.

I haven't really been interested in zombie movies/TV shows for a few years but give it a chance since it was Rob Thomas and I loved it. Love Rose McIver in it.

I've read the comics and am a huge fan of the show.
For those wondering, they have almost nothing to do with each other. It doesn't even have the same characters in it. They just used the very basic premise of the comic as their starting point. So don't judge one based on the other. If you didn't like the comic, you might still like the show. And if you like the show, the comic won't give you spoilers or anything like that.

No, the show just stole the name from the comic. Literally nothing crossed over. They totally straight washed the cast, and for that reason, I wont watch it. Make a black character white, and all hell would break loose. Make a gay character straight, and no one gives a shit it seems The talking chimp wins again

I HATE Zombie related stuff nowadays but I love Izombie.
I know some people sneer at the Detective show aspect (Lucifer too) but like Alan Partridge says "People like them, Lets make some more"
