Have they parodied Marvel movies yet? I remember the one with Iron Man saying "I am Iron Man" and getting hit by a giant cow because SO RANDOM SO FUNNY.

Have they parodied Marvel movies yet? I remember the one with Iron Man saying "I am Iron Man" and getting hit by a giant cow because SO RANDOM SO FUNNY. Didn't they do that joke three or four more times in a row with different superheroes? Or am I misremembering it? Either way, maybe it's me, but it seems like there's a running theme in a lot of these movies where some celebrity/famous character will pop up, someone one will say, "hey look, it's [insert name here]!", and said celebrity or character will get hurt or killed or stuck in an embarrassing situation. I hope they've never heard of Star Trek. Now I know what they're going to do. The Enterprise shows up, somebody says, "hey look, it's the Enterprise!", and then it gets blown up by Jar Jar.

Let's do a 90 minute film where we do trailer parodies, & fill most of the remaining time with pop culture characters frozen in carbonite & three dance sessions to "I Will Survive". The sad part is I've seen people who believe this is genuinely funny.

Vine's been dead under a month and we're already back to this horseshit?

More accurately, they will spoof Star Wars trailers. Still more accurately, they will spend ten minutes spoofing Star Wars trailers and fill the rest with references to memes, celebrities and TV shows that will already be dated by the time the movie comes out. And, for the record, the movie Disaster Movie is hard evidence to this. With a rich cornucopia of Hollywood disaster films, they instead did a general "let's parody everything popular from 12 months ago... Oh, we gotta have a disaster? Eh, throw in the obligatory 'cow in tornado' scene that's been done hundreds of times & have the disaster be space testes" type of crud festival.

Have they parodied Marvel movies yet? Going only by the trailers, I remember that Epic Movie had the X-Men, and Meet the Spartans had Spider-Man

"Marvellous Super Heroes"
Ironing Man - A former drug addict and alcoholic who hits people with an ironing board
Captain Torch - A patriotic super soldier who can light himself on fire
Black Spider - A loud sassy black woman with red hair who spews various stereotypical black dialogue
Mick Manner/The Astonishing Bulk - A scientist who turns into a strong monster whenever he gets hungry/horny/upset/horny/angry/horny etc...
Red Dick - A Nazi mastermind whose penis is red
Featuring references to Ariel Winter's tits and ass, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston, Beyonce's twins, La La Land, and whatever else happened to be out of pop culture at least a year or two before the film goes into production.

Genius idea: a parody of Parody Movies
You literally just play the original movie the parody film would be spoofing

So they'll attempt to parody "The Last Jedi" knowing nothing about it but its title? Most of their parodies are made by just viewing the trailer.

That title sounds like one of Craig Moss' awful parodies.

Have they parodied Marvel movies yet? Yes,they had "Super Hero Movie" which focus in a spoof from Spider-Man , including other marvel franchises(and i think some DC's too). Drake Bell played the main character(spider-man /peter parker knock off) .Funny enough he ended playing Spider-Man itself in the cartoons It is probably the best of the bunch, not saying much of course.

but it's already been done by mel brooks: why try to be better than that as its only going to be a massive failure. In my opinion this is the greatest spoof movie of all time. Why bother. If not the best, its in the top 3, alongside blazing Saddles and Airplane.

Well to keep in the spirit of things I offer this bon mot:
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of dollars cried out, and were suddenly wasted. I fear another terrible parody movie has been green lit."

Honestly the last three movies have bombed badly and I haven't heard of the last two so there is no need to panic.
