I wear them and don't care. I'm not out making a fashion statement. I'm about comfort.

One thing I do get odd looks about is going around in public wearing a t-shirt devoted to some of my favorite female musicians. They're men's shirts, people. Men are allowed to show appreciation for their favorite female singers as well as bands.
I wear them regardless, but you get the idea. Somehow I'm thought of as less of a man if I wear an Amy Grant t-shirt as opposed to, say, AC/DC or some band that "rocks".
