I f***ing despise yelling at my son and will try my mightiest to talk the situation out. I can't even fathom doing something like this to him...for "fun."

That's not a prank, that's being a sociopath.
If you do something to your kid with the sole intention of making them cry, you don't deserve to call yourself a parent.

I refuse to watch that, but just from the description these people should have their bloody kids taken off them.

... meh.I'd they believed what thwyre doing was wrong they wouldn't have posted it. Clearly its a Controlled environment, they do this regularly obviously. Another case of this sensitive pc society needing to mind it's own damn business.
I don't like being yelled at either, but if they've done a prank about adoption with the child, and people laughed, liked, and shared, then you as a viewer enabled this behavior.

When I was about six, we went to the Oklahoma City zoo. The hippos were in a watery enclosue about fifteen feer down from the area where people would walk. My uncle was able to make a gesture that got the hippo to open its jaws wide. I was there, 6, watchin the animal in wonder when my dad thought it would be hilarious to to grab me up from behind, and hold me up like he was gonna throw me in. There were no bars or glass between the enclosure and us. If he had slipped, I'dve been eaten. Scared the f*** out of me. He thought it was hilarious. My uncle and mom did not and rightly chastised him.
Pranks or not, it's cruel to treat a child that way.
It's not PC to call out douchebaggery as such. Adults cruelly pranking a kid, even if it's recanted, is an asshole thing to do.

... meh. I'd they believed what thwyre doing was wrong they wouldn't have posted it.Spousal abusers don't believe what they're doing is wrong, guess they get a pass too. Repeated occurrences of being an asshole doesn't make being an asshole alright. They're the ones that put it out there and if they can't take criticism, they should stop being assholes and filming it. Stop minimizing their behavior. My mom had a boyfriend when I was younger that would scream at me for putting the toilet paper on the wrong direction, I constantly had to walk on eggshells to avoid doing anything that would possibly set him off and it made me entirely paranoid and anxious about my own behavior. What I'm saying is, if you treat a kid like shit for no reason repeatedly, it f***s with their head. That prank is f***ing horrible too. I've never heard of these people prior to this thread but from the sound of things, they're entirely self involved f***heads that need to grow up and focus on being parents instead of YouTube stars because they obviously can't do both of those things at the same time.

Jesus. None of those pranks sound funny, they just sound traumatizing.
Well, I guess if the kid was like 16 or something, then the X-Box could be funny depending on how it's handled. But doing that to a young kid is just cruel.

The parents are human garbage that need to have their children taken away. They're not fit to take care of other living beings.
Yeah, that's f***ing normal. Stop defending trash like this.

I'm saying how is it NOW that people want to say to draw the line?? My eyebrow was raised off the adoption prank, but no, is when they tangibly see the kid in tears is the moment they decide "oh, that's too far". Don't pull a U turn now, after you left so much go. These people shouldn't be put into the position they have in the first place if their actions are indeed wrong.

You're missing my point. I'm not disagreeing about "wrong" or "right" , i'm saying you can't pull the trigger now after so much. Almost like Dave Chapelle, with clearly less humour.

What makes a practical joke funny is pulling it on someone that should know better not defenseless kids.

I'm gonna assume that most people who are upset about this hadn't seen or heard of this channel prior to this blowing up. I'm sure there are some people who condoned earlier videos by these people but are now condemning them, but I bet you that's like 0.5% at best EDIT: Or are you trying to say that once we laughed at "Got your nose" that it was inevitably going to be a slippery slope until we were screaming and cussing and berating children for online entertainment?

You're acting as if any of us knew about this. Who is your point being made to? Lecturing us or trying to talk down to people here who didn't know about this prior to a news article is accomplishing what?
