Tony Hawk Ride Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness Mario Golf World Tour Mario Party 9 Metroid Other M Literally every game but one on that list has received another entry in the series, be it a sequel or reboot. And Mario Golf, the one that hasn't, came out 3 years ago. They went 10 years between the last 2 installments. |

Your knowledge of the land shall be great my favorite bit of the What's a paladin is something spoony didn't mention. From what I remember You can ask that ... while YOU ARE A PALADIN. And I did find not knowing the Codex of Infinite wisdom to be worse... |

Ultima IX just makes no sense from a story perspective.
It's like they tried to do a reboot & a sequel at the same time, and still they botched it

Now I actually liked both games, but Twisted Metal 3 and 4 nearly killed that series with the switch in developers and all the changes made to those games.
The original crew coming back and bringing that series back to life with Twisted Metal Black saved that franchise

Bloody Roar 4 pretty much killed that franchise didn't it? I know there were rumours of future instalments but I don't think there's been another. I never played the fourth, the last one I played was the third but I seem to remember there being a lot of "if you already have the third, don't bother with the fourth" talk.

Even if you're not a rap fan, it's at least a fun AKI wrestling game. I was in middle school when Vendetta came out, so the novelty of beating people up as modern rappers would've been enough haha |

Suikoden IV didn't quite kill the franchise (that honour goes to Tierkreis) but it did deal a crippling blow to the Suikoden series and destroyed its credibility. The series suffered diminishing returns for Tactics, V and Tierkreis and then the PSP game was the final blow. I still hate that the PSP game never left Japan. Same with the last .Hack game. It's a shame, really. Tierkreis, once you get used to how everything works, is actually a pretty good game. It's just not a Suikoden game and shouldn't have been labeled as such. |

What about Drake of the 99 Dragons? If I recall, that game was supposed to be a launch-pad for a comic book and a cartoon series, but it tanked so hard that everybody pulled their funding before any of it could even see development.
