RIP Adam West. Seemed like a really nice guy and I always really enjoyed his portrayal of Batman. My favorite thing about him was how straight he played his performance despite all the craziness going on around him.

No. No. No. f*** you 2016 and your damn 2017 repackaging. If it was 2016, the major deaths would have all happened. In January alone. What can I say? Batman 66 and Superfriends were the gateway drugs to being superhero fans for many, me included. This and Carrie Fisher were big losses on Family Guy... this moreso, obviously. Wonder if we get Mayor Ward for '17? Aside from Batman, FG, and that BTAS episode....I recommend The Fear episode of Super Powers Team. First time out of the comics that Bats' origin was told, and Adam and Hanna-Barbera did it surprisingly well. Jeez...we only have 2 surviving regulars from the show now, no? |

Wonder if he'd finished his work on the Return of the Caped Crusaders sequel. Really hope so, would like to have at least one last time with him as Batman.

Many of us share the same experience growing up with Adam West as the one who got the ball rolling on the fandom along with the cast on show. Can't tell you how many times I've stopped everything to watch Mr. West portray the Caped Crusader throughout the years.

Very sad but not that shocking due to his age , these guys (Moore , West , Connery , Eastwood , Nicholson etc) are getting old now. I'm actually surprised Ozzy or Jake the Snake are still with us  |

His Batman is what got me into Batman in the first place along with Superfriends. But I'd have never watched Suprfriends if it hadn't been for Adam Wests Batman. His appearance on TAS as the Grey Ghost is my favorite episode of that series as it brought my two favorite Batmen together.
Adam West you will always be my Batman. Godspeed and may you Rest In Peace 😢
