I personally would be ok with them using a soundalike actor to continue Sixties animated. So would I, actually. The basic intention of the series in general, as they talked about, was to be able to do new stuff in that universe and whilst I would have loved the idea someone mentioned of doing a Justice League with older properties, using Adam was always going to be something short term in case his voice went out or he couldn't act the same way. It isn't even like they couldn't find one, considering the great job they did in finding soundalikes for everyone else. I disagree with this it wouldn't be the same without Adam West and Burt Ward providing the voices for Batman and Robin in these movies. That was one the things that people were most looking forward to seeing when it was announced that these movies were going to be made. And it's hardly a suprise when you think about it because the first movie was the first time that they had worked together in any DC Comics media since the 70's. They actually provided the voices for Batman and Robin in a Batman cartoon in the 70's. If anyone's interested in seeing it it was called The New Adventures of Batman. See, I'd be just fine with a continuation, as every one of the villains (sans Catwoman) by necessity was recast while maintaining the same feel. Ideally, Adam would still be around and able to do it. Sadly, that of course isn't an option. They did Return of the Caped Crusaders, and that was great, but I think Adam himself would have been more than happy to have that world continue on.

West's passing ensures that Family Guy is either going to have a new anonymous mayor who will not be seen or heard or they find another celeb to voice Mayor (Insert name of celeb voicing character) By the way, are there episodes that haven't aired yet with Mayor Adam West in it? This season is over. Did they start working on the next? I am predicting Burt Ward becomes mayor next. As for the question of sound-alikes should they do any more '66 Batman projects, or maybe even a sub for the FG voice...the guy who did Blue Falcon in the recent Scooby-Doo crossover movie would be good, as I thought it was West at first. If I'm correct the person that you're referring to is Diedrich Bader, who was the voice of Batman in Batman Brave and The Bold. Which was a great homage to various parts of DC Comics history. This includes references to the Batman TV Series I probably don't need to mention this, but one of the people that worked on that show was a big fan of Adam West's and had been wanting to bring that type of Batman back for ages.

It was a pure fantasy..
But I was hoping one day that Rocksteady Games would make a game based on the 60's Batman series using the Arkham engine. Except it's bright and more comedy driven. With any available original cast members doing the voices.
They could do it. They released dlc skins for Batman, Robin and maybe a couple of others in the Arkham series based on the show (I can't remember but I think there was a Skin for Batgirl in Arkham Knight) .. plus they had the 60s Batmobile in Knight as well as DLC

farewell Batman, had the privilege of meeting him a few years back, and he was awesome! so super super friendly and appreciative of all the love from everybody in the room, he sang a few songs, talked about Batman, and at the end walked around talking to all of us there, I brought up how much I loved the pilot for "Lookwell!" and his face lit up and just put that pilot over as one of the best things he's ever worked on and how much he loved doing it and how he still hoped they would do something with it.

Wouldn't be surprised if they put James Woods as mayor if he's up to it He's already established in the series and doesn't mind making fun of himself

Considering the show was cancelled before this episode could be shown, props to everyone involved for uploading it for everyone to see. It would have been so easy to make it a promotion point for a DVD release and hype it up in a unsettling manner.
