Buffy should have ended after season 5. I think they found some pretty decent storylines to bring to the show after they changed networks. Granted, that 7th season dragged on a bit, but even that was preferable to the 4th season in general. Yeah Buffy is another one that I stand with the series as a whole.

Since it is a cousin of the Garry Marshall Universe, how about...the Miller-Boyett shows of the 90s? ESPECIALLY Family Matters.

The original run of Scooby Doo series. I think it would have been better to have ended things after The Scooby Doo Show instead they brought Scrappy in. The first season where the show kept its original format was okay but once they dropped Daphne, Fred, and Velma the show went to pot. Then you had the western shorts toward the end that took out Scooby and Shaggy but kept Scrappy. When Daphne came back it did help the show a bit but they still chose to focus on Scrappy. Then you had the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. First let me say I think they had an interesting concept but it was so poorly executed. As if Scrappy was not annoying enough of a character they brought in Flim Flam. Finally after they did this they finally ended it. I always look at a Pup Named Scooby Doo to be a reboot of Scooby Doo. They went back to the original format. Brought back everyone, and dropped Scrappy. Oddly enough, rating-wise the original format was tanking the show...the Scrappy series kept it alive through the '80s. They did kind of bring back the original format when Daphne returned (New Scooby and Scrappy, New Scooby Mysteries). To a lesser degree, the Fearless Detective Agency season (the one with the western shorts and Puppy's New Adventures from Ruby-Spears). But yeah, when you see just Shaggy and the dogs, and real monsters, run away. Far far away.

Are you caught up on the show? Or did you stop watching at some point? Im curious what you thought of the last few seasons? A lot of people I know who cite the Leviathan season as an off year told me they feel the same but I really felt they have just been going strong since 8 or 9 I've watched sparingly since the Leviathan season which is season 8 I think. I did not watch an episode last year but I know what's going on with the story with the darkness and their mom being back The Leviathan season was season 7...and, like mentioned, once Jeremy Carver took over as show-runner beginning in season 8(which he was through season 11), the show picked back up & the seasons have consistently been good - great since 8.
