I'm curious if I'll be able to play cartridge games on it or if it'll be like the NES Classic.

If I'm not mistaken, Turtles in Time was once available on the Virtual Console, but got pulled, so I'm assuming its license has lapsed and that's why it isn't included.

I'd be hyped if it were actually possible to purchase one, but Nintendo doesn't believe in stock.

I keep refreshing/checking every site like crazy, but I know it'll be a pain in the ass to actually get one of these. I love Nintendo, but they can go f*** themselves for that artificial scarcity nonsense they constantly pull.

I'm a sucka.
Preordered through EB games in Australia. Asked for it to be delivered so the store does not give it to another customer before I have chance to pick it up.

I'm hype for it.
Let's be honest, the definitive version of Chrono Trigger is the DS port you can find for like $10 used at most Gamestops. The lack of it in this collection isn't breaking my heart.

Chrono Trigger should be there, but I've got it on the DS and if I wanted the original version I could get it on the PS3, so not too broken up on that one.
What bothers me is the lack of Mario All Stars (I know, I know, it's because of the Wii version they can't be assed to put up for download so you can use a decent controller with it) and Tetris Attack (particularly since the Japanese one has Panel de Pon), and going with Secret of Mana over ActRaiser or DKC1 over 2. Though latter case I have both 1 and 2 on the Wii U anyway.

I went into the nearest Game store to my work during my lunch and pre-ordered one
When I was ordering it I was talking to the guy and he was already not looking forward to telling people there was none available. The guy mentioned that there was 3 left when I pre-ordered it and obviously only 2 left and the guy behind me in the queue overheard and went "1 actually ha". Man imagine if I had gotten the last one, that would have been awkward lol
I asked my poor wife to get a NES last year for my Christmas but I said if she couldn't, that it was no biggie (Which I meant) but she didn't want me to be disappointed so she stressed herself registering here, there and everywhere and finally got one so she's gonna reimburse me and count it as an early Christmas present so I'm glad I'll save her some stress this year ha

My local game store isn't accepting any more preorders, people were actually camped outside before opening.

So much for getting one now. All pre-orders are sold out here.

I have every "placeholder" page bookmarked and ready to go for when pre-orders actually go live. If it's impossible to get one of these, I'm going the Raseberry Pi route and won't feel a bit bad about it. Nintendo deserves the worst if they screw everyone over again for the umpteenth time.

I'm thinking of the remake of the game that was made for download that was of poor quality.

Now, my girlfriend's brother in law did get a NES classic when they came out, but I noticed that there was a slight lag between button input and what happened on screen. I'm going to assume that was just something with their TV, though, because I haven't really heard that complaint anywhere else. I believe a lot of people said that Punch-Out in particular was near unplayable due to lag. If there were problems with the lag for Punch-Out, that'll lead to a $64,000 question- will Earthbound be playable due to the noted copy protection on the original game?

If it's a VC emulation, then it should be fine Also the cords will be five feet long
