For whatever reason.
I'll go with Titanic. Excellent picture that I like and would love to see repeatedly but have only seen twice because I can only sit through the romance in it so many times. Plus I don't enjoy seeing women treated like Rose is by her intended and her mother.

12 Years a Slave. Amazing film, I am glad that I got to experience it, but, yeah it's gonna be a while until I see it again.

Any of the Lord of the Rings movies. They're beautifully shot. The acting and the story is well done, but they are a hard slog to sit through. They just drone on and on. It gets incredibly boring. I heard there were extended versions of those movies and I said no. Just no.

Most movies over 2 and a half hours long. I can never be arsed to sit down and rewatch them.

I'll go ahead and say Reservoir Dogs. One, because of THAT scene (which I thankfully missed much off due to somehow falling asleep before that part), and two, because there isn't much to rewatch after you've seen it.

I was 14 or 15 who was very hormonal my depression was really rough in 2005 but yeah I hadn't rewatched it even though I know I would feel less bummed out being older and more desensitized.

Not "great" in the sense of being good, but Avatar.
I've only seen it once and I never want to see it again.

Apocalypse Now. Granted, I watched the Redux version. But, you know a movie is long when Laurence Fishburne starts the movie as teenager and ends it as a man. Jeez.

Irreversible. Great movie, it's just way too heavy to be casually rewatching though.

rubbish movies
green room*, fifty shades of grey, survivor, 47 ronin, ex machina (awful AWFUL ending of "i'm a robot now i kill you" wholly unoriginal guff) ..... all recent ..... but there's plenty i can't remember watching and only saw the once, but i can watch movies three times and still not be fed up of them
*green room isn't "rubbish", just has a bit of a dippy script
i can sit through a long movie easy
and RfaD i've seen about five times over the years

For me there's two films. The Green Mile and the recent Pete's Dragon.
As great as The Green Mile is I can never watch it again due to the ending. I am a sucker for happy endings and as a kid I could watch depressing films easily. I've seen Old Yeller, Fox and The Hound, and many others without even tearing up at times. Watched The Green Mile in theatre and ended up bawling like a baby due to the ending.
Same with Pete's Dragon. I've seen the original Pete's Dragon and I don't even remember the original being that dramatic. I sat in an empty theatre watching the latest version and ended up crying because of how emotional, powerful, and impacting the story is. I simply refuse to watch it again because I absolutely loathe down endings. At times I can handle downers from time to time, however, I'd rather have a film that has a happy climax and leaves me smiling instead of bawling.
One of the main reasons why I will be avoiding the upcoming Coco. I see Pixar/Disney and see a dog on a poster I know it's going to be a tearjerker.
