Burned through it in like 12 hours. Great stuff. Loved how they went full Lovecraft this season.

A lot of people online hated "Lost Sister," but I really enjoyed it. By the end of that ep I was really torn.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler} on the one hand I was on board with 11 leveling up to go back and help her friends but I was also ready for a Superpowered Sisters Vengeance Rampage that would've probably ended up back at the facility anyway. It was still a cool ending but I LOVED 8 and at least half her crew I feel like it'll be better received if/when we go back to 08 and crew and the dangling Brenner plot. I liked the episode, but I will admit it felt sort of like a 'diversion' from this season's plot; so I can see why some wouldn't dig it.

Only two episodes left. What a great season. Can't wait to see how they tie it together.

A lot of people online hated "Lost Sister," but I really enjoyed it. By the end of that ep I was really torn.... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} on the one hand I was on board with 11 leveling up to go back and help her friends but I was also ready for a Superpowered Sisters Vengeance Rampage that would've probably ended up back at the facility anyway. It was still a cool ending but I LOVED 8 and at least half her crew I had a feeling a lot of people would complain about that episode. I enjoyed it. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} I don't mind stories going off on a tangent if it serves a purpose, and in this case it led to plenty of character development for Eleven/Jane. I do think that having Eight's group go back with her would have helped tie things together better, though. My only major complaint for this season is {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} the Dustin and Dart stuff. I get that he's a kid, but if you lived in a town where there was a monster running around the previous year, wouldn't you be suspicious of any strange creature you found? That was really the only time I questioned the writing this season. I really liked that we saw new interactions between characters this year, especially {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Hopper and Eleven. Makes complete sense that he would take her in, since he lost his daughter and would have felt guilty about telling the Hawkins Lab people about her. Also, in regards to minor complaints.... {Spoiler}the side story of Nancy & Johnathan and that reporter guy kinda felt like it went on a bit longer than needed. Nothing distracting but looking back its kinda like...eh, not sure if really needed. After the last ep, the military base closing down on its own wouldn't be too far off, but giving Barb's parents closure was nice.

I’ve got a couple episodes to go, but I wanted to stop in and express my love for Steve Harrington and his giant brass balls. One of my favorite characters to come around in a long time.

Damn. Finished already and thirsting for more. Yet, it's a refreshing change from stories dragged through 22 episodes. Waiting one week and getting a certain episode would have been super frustrating. I was nervous there for a while that one character would die but luckily not. For season three some character could use serving some newer purpose. I did like season one's group dynamic better than what you got here. Oh, Dustin is sweet and super fun, but that last hairstyle truly suits no one.

Just finished and I LOVED it! Even better than season one! Loved all the character development this season and all the new characters (except one) were great. {Spoiler} Max is a badass. I was kind of thinking the twist would be she would be one of the psychic kids too and her "brother" was supposed to be watching her but her just being a normal badass was cool too.
I demand a spin off starting Lucas's sassy younger sister.
RIP Bob. I thought there would be a twist with him being evil or something but he went out like a hero.
I want to see more of the other psychic kids. Maybe 1 is the main villain next season?

Finished it, and my gawd it brought the awesome yet again. {Spoiler}Steve came into his own, I loved the bond between Will and Mike, and the gang Eleven met deserve way more screen time next season. Also, her relationship with Hopper brought so many feels.
And Lucas' little sister ruled.

I've almost finished it, two more episodes for tomorrow night. I have mostly enjoyed it a lot, like most of the new characters, and can't wait to see what happens. I am one of those that hated the Lost Sister though, sorry, {Spoiler}{Spoiler} hated that f***ing dorky punk gang the moment I saw them.

I kind of want to watch it, but I'm paranoid that they're going to go in certain directions that'd push me away...

So i'm still finishing Season one
Does Winnona Ryder character get any better because I get what she is going for and she's acting it the way I assume the direction they gave her but it's grating the first few episodes

Finished it last night.
Just as good, hell, even better than season one.
The friendships and relationships in the show feel so organic and real. Even without the supernatural/sci fi elements it would be an awesome show just following the main characters and their lives.
I hope they don't go overboard with super powered kids running around though or it might start feeling like an X-Men knock off.
Some great scenes at episodes. The one with the Demodogs running loose in the institute was great. Really tense and creepy.
Steve has had an amazing character development arc. His faceturn has been done so well. Gradual, realistic and doesn't feel forced.
I also like that the show nails it's humour perfectly. Some serious shows lack humour, others it falls fact. In this, the humour is handled well.
Great series. 10/10.

finished it about 10 mins ago and damn it was good, Better than season 1 due to it's characters arcs and pacing. My hope for season 3 is {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}A new big bad, They've said all that's needed with the "Shadow world" or at least wait and bring it back much later And if "Lost Sister" is the one I'm thinking of then I enjoyed that one, {Spoiler}I'd love to see an arc about the different numbers

I started watching Season 1 on Monday and I just finished Season 2. I realized I dislike Will for the same reasons I dislike Frodo Baggins: Both are emotional wrecks, but everything still revolves around them. They spend their entire time struggling with their burdens and worrying their friends. Meanwhile, all the other characters have better stories and kick ass. And whereas Mike is the leader, Lucas is the muscle and Dustin is comic relief, Will is just a glorified plot device. {Spoiler}
I'm not exactly sure where I stand when it comes to Jonathan and Steve. I think I could go either way. But I definitely want more interaction with Steve and Dustin.
After the evil left Will in Season 2, I assumed it was going to enter Billy who happened to be knocked out. But I guess not.
Joyce developed a lot between seasons and I'm glad she took on a leadership role after playing the stressed-out mom through most of the first season.
Bob was a surprisingly good character and I was sad to see him die. I also assumed he and/or Dr. Owens would turn out to be villains, but surprisingly that also didn't happen.
Overall, the show is good. But much like the Avengers and Defenders, thinks really go well when everyone unites toward the end of each season. My favorite of those moments was at the end of episode 8 when Eleven walked in like a boss after taking out the demidog.
