Best Spot: I gotta agree with Polaris and say AJ’s perfect Jesus hair in the wind at WM. Bobby Roode is jealous of how glorious that was, you couldn’t duplicate that spot.

Best Male Superstar - AJ Styles - No elaboration needed.

Worst Male Superstar - Dolph Ziggler. Gimmick sucks.

Best Female Superstar - Asuka. An amazing NxT run, I hope she is booked far better on the main roster in 2018.

The Eva Marie Memorial Snowcone for Worst Female Superstar - Tamina. For a woman of her experience, its disgraceful she is not better than this.

Best Tag Team - Breezango. Have gotten over in the most unique of ways, dragging the Ascension with them and getting them all over in the process.

Worst Tag Team - Hype Bros. Not a Mojo fan (heel turn could be good though) and am glad they are done. Ryder can do better.

Best Match - Tyler Bate vs Pete Dunne, Takeover Chicago. One of the best matches I have ever seen let alone of the year. Dunne can be the best heel in the industry.

Worst Match - Wyatt vs Orton, WM 33. Considering the occasion, what on earth was that?!

Best Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment - Festival Of Friendship. Heartbreaking.

Worst Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment - Bayley/Bliss - This is your life. Embarrasingly cringeworthy.

Best PPV/Major Event - NxT Takeover Chicago. For the Dunne/Bate match and the equally awesome AoP/DIY match.

Worst PPV/Major Event - Wrestlemania 33. Massively disappointing considering the build and occasion. Only the Hardy Boyz returning saved the show from oblivion.

Best Feud - Aliester Black vs Velveteen Dream. Amazingly simple but effective build led to a fantastic match that got both over.

Worst Feud - Wyatt vs Balor. Tried to be far too serious when it is the most carny of fueds. Creative have shit the bed on Wyatt, and it is now up to Matt Hardy to save him.

Most Improved Superstar - Pete Dunne. Absolutely gets being a heel. Has had an incredible year and should be on TV every week.

Most Exciting Moment - Hardyz return. Great mark out moment.

Most Hilarious Moment - Fashion Files. If you can't be serious, then be as carny as hell like this.

Most Disappointing Moment - Neville being gone. Please return!

Most Embarrassing Moment - Jinder's racist promos against Nakamura. Seriously?

Most WTF? Moment - Jinder Mahal, WWE Champion. I was not against this idea unlike so many, but it is the most leftfield decision I have ever known to be made. Guy gave it his all and (from a distance - ignore the bleeding bacne!) carried himself like a champ, but from where he was to where he went... holy crap!

Best Spot - Braun Strowman's fetish for public service vehicles, particularly the ambulance tipping over spot was both awesome and hilarious at the same time.

Best Male Superstar: AJ Styles. It came down to AJ and Braun and, as entertaining as Braun is, AJ's ability to seemingly drag a half decent match out of anybody gets it.

Worst Male Superstar: Kane. As a long time fan of his, it pains me to pick him but his time has passed and he really shouldn't be in title matches in 2017, especially when you have such a capable replacement in Braun.

Best Female Superstar: Asuka. This is more for her NXT run than what she's done since moving up.

The Eva Marie Memorial Snowcone for Worst Female Superstar: Stephanie McMahon. She really adds nothing at this point. If we were limiting it to wrestlers, I'd say Tamina. Considering how long she's been around, she should be much better, both at wrestling and promos.

Best Tag Team: The Usos. Since turning heel last year and being able to show some personality, they have been on a roll, both in ring and on the mic. They've gone from just kind of being there to make up the numbers to being a main part of the tag division.

Worst Tag Team: The Colons. It was between them and the Hype Bros. but at least the Hype Bros were getting some sort of reaction, The Colons just come out to silence not matter which gimmick they're using. With how little they're used on Smackdown (they were back from injury the Smackdown after Survivor Series as Lumberjacks) it's a surprise that they're even still with the WWE.

Best Match: DIY vs AoP vs Revival - Triple threat elimination @ Takeover: Orlando. There were quite a few matches I could have picked. You knew that DIY and The Revival were going to be good, but the AoP element added a new twist with the rivals having to work together to take out the new threat and the AoP played their part well.

Worst Match: Orton vs Wyatt - Wrestlemania. All the gimmicky stuff might have been fine on a smaller PPV, but not on your biggest show of the year. I almost went with the House of Horrors but, as poorly done as that was, they at least went all in on it rather than just projecting stuff on the mat.

Best Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment: Festival of Friendship. It was entertaining, moved the story along well, didn't feel like it went on forever and is memorable for all the right reasons.

Worst Promo/Non-Wrestling Segment: Bayley: This is your Life. This was the opposite of the above and nobody came out of it looking good.

Best PPV/Major Event: Takeover: Wargames. It was going to be one of the Takeover events, I went for this one because of the great Black/Dream match, unexpected title change, and the entertaining Wargames match itself.

Worst PPV/Major Event: Backlash. This was a tricky one. A lot of the PPVs were not terrible but completely forgettable.

Best Feud: Aleister Black vs Velveteen Dream. It was simple but it did it's job perfectly. At the start, I had no interest in it, but found myself enjoying it more each week and then it ended with a great match and closure without dragging it out too much.

Worst Feud: Bray Wyatt vs Finn Balor. The not so classic story of demon vs man vs man vs man possessed by woman vs pumpkin that, from what I can remember, didn't even get a proper ending. 

Most Improved Superstar: Drew Gulak. How many people, never mind wrestlers, can get others wanting to see a powerpoint presentation? 

Most Exciting Moment: The Hardys return at Wrestlemania. Not a whole lot jumps out at me for this category.

Most Hilarious Moment: Fashion Files in general. They somehow kept it up week after week even if it  did run out of steam a bit at the end. The little background details were great and they even made the Ascension entertaining. Other things that were on the shortlist were the New Day / Usos rap battle and Roman cowardly diving into the ambulance to get away from Braun during their match.

Most Disappointing Moment: Neville walking out. He was doing the best work of his WWE career and found the thing that had been missing since he moved up to the main roster.

Most Embarrassing Moment: Jinder The Racist. I don't really need to explain why I picked this, but I would like to hear an explanation from whoever decided that this was a good idea.

Most WTF? Moment: Jinder - Jobber to Champion. They just completely skipped over the whole 'build him up to make him look credible' bit. And it's not like they just threw the belt on him as a temporary measure during an injury crisis.

Best Spot: Superplex off the top of the cage at Wargames. I almost went with the Singh Brother falling off the Punjabi prison, but with Shane being back and jumping/falling off everything it didn't have the same impact, whereas the superplex was unexpected and seemed more impressive with the amount of people involved.
