Great work again EoE. I really admire the effort you put into all your FAN record keeping. I’d love to see a full vote count for this, especially to get an idea of how close the AJ-Braun vote went. It was a pretty easy win for Styles in the end... 58.54% - Styles (WINNER) 24.39% - Strowman 17.07% - Everyone else You couldn’t have gone wrong either way. I know I had AJ as my pick until the last second before switching to Braun. |

I missed voting this year, but thanks for the awesome work.
One thing I noticed: The honorable mentions for best promo didn't include Cena tearing Reigns a new one. Did no one vote for that?

Only one vote for any stuff from the Cena/Reigns feud in that category. It was dominated by Festival Of Friendship, with the only other things getting multiple votes being Reigns the night after WrestleMania, Braun murdering him the week after, the Fashion Files and Miz and Maryse's Total Bellas parody. |

The reception to Cena's worked shoot here was a bit nuanced if I remember correctly, as some had felt that worked shoots in general were becoming very passe, almost a crutch for lazy writing, especially when it's coming from Mr. Fine Speech himself. Also, it was only a week after Miz laid into Cena and Reigns with a worked shoot of his own that was a bit more palatable. Maybe in a different year it might have been up for more consideration, but with Festival of Friendship taking up what had to be a huge chunk of the voting block, it was only going to amount to a distant second place at best. |

Holy Lord, the article just reminded me: For some perspective of how long they've stretchted out Fashion Files, most everybody initially thought it was going to be American Alpha who trashed Breezango's office.

...Gallows & Anderson were Tag Team Champions? Yep, won them at Rumble, held them through to WrestleMania. Did it happen on the pre-show? Because I re-watched the Rumble about two months ago and I still don't remember that match at all. |

Yeah, it was on the pre-show, likely because Sheamus and Cesaro were backing up in the Rumble. Like, that had to be to the reason it was that match on the pre-show and not Swann v Neville for the Cruiserweight belt. |

Huh, really, Roman Reigns Post Mania Boo Fest was 2nd in "Promo of the Year"?? I don't even know if that counts considering it was just outright hatred from the Fans that didn't lead anywhere because "WE'RE IN BIZARRO WORLD OF COURSE!" If it had lead to anything gratifying, I think it would have had a better impact, but they're STILL trying to "crown" Roman as this guy who is totally legit seriously trust us. The promo had all the makings for making Roman something, but they squashed it just about as instantly. Braun dismantling Roman has way more weight (Though it being a Backstage Beatdown more than a Promo I feel) because many point to that as the moment Braun legitimized himself, taking out the guy the fans all despise and still pretty much do, coming back for more, donning his "I'm not finished with you!" catchphrase, and going as far as to tip a damn ambulance. But hey good to see that did get the recognition it deserved. To me one Roman segment did exactly what it intended to do, the other was just utter venom WWE bluntly ignored that factored into nothing, especially after the following "Ether" promos by Cena in the feud no one asked for. But that's just how I see it. Aside from "THE BIG DAAAAWG!" probably being one of the worst sayings in wrestling history. Also I feel like if something is tied, they should both just get the award if it's that much of an equal feeling... All this aside, well done as always EoE, I'm sorry I was late on my votes, this was an excellent poll with some deserved winners  |
