Impact this week drew 161,000 viewers. Down 29% from last week and even lower than the thanksgiving episode.

The ratings only seem low because the morale is so high.

Boy that eternal 1.1 rating from their Spike years seems like a million years ago.
No excuses now, they weren't on a holiday or anything special. Their die hard fans finally left the sinking ship. There's no reason why anyone would care about a third rate dollar store Canadian indy.
TNA is reaching lower ratings than infomercials and static. A shit ending for a shit company. We are now in the second week of the legendary 0.1 rating and things may actually get worse.
This is why I've been wishing for years that tna folds, because things always get more embarrassing for them.
Without a shadow of a doubt this is the lowest moment in TNA's history, the joke about them going to public access might become a reality.

Assistant: Mr. Nordholm, we've run into a serious problem with TNA. These Nielsen ratings are the lowest ever. [holds a piece of paper]
Ed Nordholm: Oh my God...we've been beaten by "A Connie Chung Christmas!"

At this point, why does Pop give them airtime?
Most digital stations that just syndicate stuff get much better viewership ratings. Like, if I had a digital network & I, say, ran an episode of Mama's Family, I'd likely get 150-200K viewers. And it'd likely just cost $150 per episode.
Yes, I know Anthem is paying for this, but the diminished returns are alarming. At this rate, we may as well bring back the Deathwatch Thread once Lashley leaves & the main event is Mundo vs. De Patron for all of 2018.

If your audience numbers for one episode of TV are this close to the highest WrestleMania live crowds, it might be time to wrap things up.

Pop TV gets half of their ad revenue, but half of zero is still zero. I don't know anymore man, I can't see any possible way that Pop sees money out of TNA, I think tna is the lowest of their priorities, f*** they ran that 70's show commercials on loop instead of Impact and nobody complained. I don't know how long they have on their deal with Pop but I don't believe tna gets renewed there.

Watch them spin this saying as the 161,000 viewers are their TRUE fans. But it's okay because they're still growing. 17 years later.

At this rate, we may as well bring back the Deathwatch Thread once Lashley leaves & the main event is Mundo vs. De Patron for all of 2018. There's a few reasons for it. One is that Pop getting half their ad revenue is something that costs them nothing. Syndication ad rates aren't amazing, and they require paying to air the decent stuff and recoup the difference. If they resigned TNA, it's likely they're pulling in something ranging from "not that big a loss relative to old sitcoms" to competitive with what else they could be running. It also gives them a 'reliable' audience of people they hope will stick around and be advertised to by running ads for what they are syndicating; some exclusive content is good for a network to hook people in with.

If they want to turn their ratings around they should go to Cena's house with a giant bucket of cash. For 10 Million he could have them beating WWE.

So if next week someone falls asleep on the couch and they roll over on the remote causing the tv to change the channnel to .. whatever channel Impact is on.. will that cause a ratings spike.
The sleeper crowd.. huge demo... test well.
