In the locker room today.
You have inject one of these men into the WWE locker room today. They can both be moody son of a bitches who can run both co-workers and management the wrong way.
You are a performer yourself in the locker, if you had to choose one, who do you prefer tolerate as a co-worker?

Punk, easily. There isn't really a choice between someone is a surly bastard, and someone who might actually be dangerous to co-workers.

Punk would be pretty happy these days I bet, a lot of his buddies around.

Punk would be a Bouncing soul in comparison to del Rio.

Punk may be an asshole at times, but it mainly seems like the way that he'll just come across as confrontational if you approach him the wrong way, otherwise he's cool. Del Rio is someone who might actually assault you if you rub him the wrong way.

Let's see... Someone who's resolutely avoided drugs, and seems to have a rather wonderful, mutual, and loving relationship with his former Divas Champion wife, a talented in-ring performer who's great on the mic as well and always gets crowds invested, and has put his own health on the line rather than other people's...
Or the exact opposite of everything I just said. Tough call.

Punk. With Joe around, that would help with Punk's morale if he ever returns.
I used to read comics, so Punk and I would likely get along just fine after we get to know each other.
Punk would also have more value than Alberto.

Always stood up to his friends and tried to give a push for other talent. Punk may be an asshole when he wants bbut he is a great guy.

Since they're talking about actually having to be in the locker room with them every day, I'd quit the company.
Both are the type who'd find me an easy target and would be merciless about it.

Punk without hesitation. In absolutely no respect does Alberto have a single leg up on him, as a talent or as a person.

Also with Punk, you could make the argument that his attitude in the WWE came from frustration with his position, being in a poor state of health during the end phase of his run here and also being in the spotlight despite being anti-social (this doesn't really excuse his attitude during his career before the WWE, though). With Del Rio, he was basically given the World Title on a silver platter and a lucrative contract and he still finds ways of acting like a petulant child when it comes to talking about them.

It's not remotely close. Punk was entertaining. Del Rio has never once done anything: a match, a promo, anything; that I've ever found interesting.

Punk and it's not even close. Punk seems like he can be an abrasive asshole if he has a problem with you, but he also seems like someone that is easily avoidable if you don't get along with him. Alberto just seems like a complete nutjob where you don't know what you are going to get.

Del Rio strikes me as the kinda guy that if Paige was doing a meet-and-greet while they were still together, he'd probably be standing off to the side and glaring at anyone that he saw her talking to. I could be wrong, but I get that vibe from the guy. Also comes from the fact that he assaulted that one guy that he felt disrespected her.

Why would anyone want a boring chump like Del Rio back in the company rather than Punk?

Punk and it's not even close. He's asocial and would most likely keep to himself most of the time, Del Rio's an insane douche.
