Punk, and it's not even close. I wouldn't want anyone nicknamed El Cokehead del Knife Fight anywhere near me.

I've always said there were times where Del Rio wasn't given a fair shake. They had something interesting with Rodriguez and broke it up for no real reason, they had something interesting with Zeb and did zilch with it and the moments the crowd were getting into him, it was snuffed out quickly. Heck, I still have no idea why he was in the League of Nations in the first place outside of having nothing else to do for him even though they gave him a stonking big paycheck.
Having said that....yeah, this isn't remotely close. Punk didn't beat up a social media manager (racist or not...and he was), threaten his ex, threaten people around him, miss shows he was booked for, missed shows he was booked for WITH CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS HE HAD and rant on almost every social media platform he could.
So Punk.

Man, you usually don't see such a gap in a poll unless Jinder is involved.

Yeah, Punk, at worst, is an anti-social prick who's a little full of himself. Del Rio is an unstable addict with anger issues. This isn't even a question.

Why is Punk even being lumped in with ADR in the first place?
Sure, I could see New Jack or Sexy Star. Even then...I don't think El Patron purposely hurt someone during a match. (could be wrong)
But CM Punk?
Why...because he was in UFC when he "shouldn't have been"?

Now you are just making stuff up. And Jericho, which had a falling with Punk didn`t have bad stuff to say about him. Joey Mercury, Kofi Kingston,,Paul Heyman not countign his happily married Wife are all happy to have met Punk. Vince hug Punk and cried when he left. Daniel Bryan, some of the guys Punk pushed for. The only person I really heard talk smack about Punk was Ryback. HHH is not a fan of punk. And since he is so high up the totem poll in WWE basically if he ever returns he's gotta apologize or at least straighten things out. From Punk himself: I wonder what HHHs reply was. For a momento i thought I wrote HH intead of Vince there. Yeh,honestly there is no surprises. Punk never respected HHH. He straight up didn't want to work with HHH at WM.I'm sure HHH didn't take kind to that

I genuinely want to know why anyone would vote for Del Rio here.

Punk by miles.
Look how much better Paige seems to be right now without him around

Punk's just a grump. Del Rio is violent and abusive Cokehead whose actively threatened to beat up the guy running the place. And that's without even getting into the fact that even when Del Rio was briefly over Punk was still streets ahead of him. Why is this even a question?

Neither. Del Rio is a woman beater and Punk is just plain obnoxious.

CM Punk is the lesser of two evils and I would actually be afraid that Del Rio might one day try to stab me for disagreeing with him on a minor subject, while Punk might just sarcastically annoy the shit out of you.
So CM Punk is the answer.

Now Sexy Star actually has more heat(rightfully so) than both of the people in this thread.

Punk can be an arrogant jerk at times, but Del Rio is just flat out toxic. It's pretty hard for me to fairly compare them.

Patron definitely has stiffed Sin Cara uno, but they also had a ton of heat with each other, which WWE knew and yet kept pitting them in matches with each other, for reasons I guess.

Punk is one of the greatest of all time, a HOF headliner, an incredible wrestler and one of the best promo guys to ever pick up the microphone. He's been responsible for some of the best WWE moments, feuds and matches of the last ten years and constantly changed up his character and image to keep himself fresh.
Del Rio had a good 6 months on SD and half a season on Lucha Underground. The guy is a fruit bat and dangerous too.

I'd sooner a dozen CM Punks than one Del Rio in the locker room.

I'd sooner a dozen CM Punks than one Del Rio in the locker room. Hell,I would ENJOY having Punk backstage where I work. I would quit a place where Del Rio works

I would honestly prefer Del Rio because he at least can consistently put on a good match.
With Punk, there would be uncertainty about when he will just up and leave. I don't recall Del Rio having many issues in WWE besides standing up to an employee making racist comments towards him. I can see how peoples opinions are skewed because of Del Rio's alleged domestic abuse, but it's somehow turned into him being a guy who goes around picking fights with everyone backstage for some reason.
Worst of all, Punk only does a good job when he feels like it. Del Rio, as lame as his booking was, at least put on good to great matches consistently.
