You're comparing a guy who left because of a major medical issue that was completely ignored by the office to a guy who got fired, badmouthed the company almost nonstop for a year, came running back at the first opportunity, immediately looked unmotivated, developed a drug problem, led a woman almost half his age into similar drug problems, quit because he was suspended for said drug problems, went right back to badmouthing the company, and publicly tried to pick fights with a number of WWE performers and officials. Alberto's alleged domestic abuse isn't even the start of where people's opinions of him nosedived. Del Rio was rightfully unmotivated after being a hero in Mexico and selling out to be involved in that ridiculously idiotic Mexamerica angle. Punk wasn't just let go because of an untreated medical reason. The guy didn't get his way and became a nuisance. Despite Del Rio being brought back to flounder, he at least put on some good matches. I'm not saying I like either guy coming back, just mentioning who I believe would be a better choice if I was forced to pick. "Rightfully unmotivated?" FOH...

Misuse or no, the dude was raking money in like crazy and it's clear that mattered to him or he wouldn't have returned to the WWE. I wish I could find that gif of Woody Harrelson drying his fake tears with money.

So with everyone saying Punk would be happier now. What made him not happy in 2013-14 and to an extent 2011? In 2013-4 he was wrestling hurt and had an undiagnosed MRSA the entire time that was making him ill. Here's a linkto information on what that shit can do to you. In 2011 what become the Summer of Punk was basically Punk getting frustrated over being overlooked. Punk and Daniel Bryan were two of the most organically over individuals in WWE but neither were getting much respect from the brass. CM Punk will not return to WWE; not as long as a McMahon or a Levesque is in charge. He could return to the indies and make one of them the next viable competitor to WWE, but that's not panned out yet and it's been three years or more. Punk was a pearl that Vince threw away. I don't think Punk really hates Vince honestly. He seems to actually like and respect Vince. It's Hunter that I feel will ultimately keep him from ever returning. If Vince got on the phone right now, called Punk, and apologized to him for what happened and gave him everything he wanted he'd be back.

Why is Punk even being lumped in with ADR in the first place? Sure, I could see New Jack or Sexy Star. Even then...I don't think El Patron purposely hurt someone during a match. (could be wrong) But CM Punk? Why...because he was in UFC when he "shouldn't have been"? He started beating the f*** out of Sin Cara Uno after the ref threw up the X for a broken finger HE CAUSED with a stiff kick.

[/quote] It would really depend on the succession plan in place for Vince. If Stephanie and Paul are locks to take over the company in time, Punk's going to stay away just on principle. Vince would know and understand this, but really can't change his mind solely on the possibility that doing so would, of all things, bring back CM Punk. People can say "Never say never," but given that a return by anyone is likely to end in them being fed to the Triple H hype machine, don't be surprised if CM Punk's "never" stays "never."

Yeah I honestly thought that was super unprofessional of him, even if it was Sin Cara.
