You want to know why Dolph Ziggler never became the main star of the wwe? Because deep down in his promos he always ends up becoming a whiny bitch, it doesn't matter if he's a face or a heel, he's not a bad ass he whines and moans, the tone of his voice is annoying, he's just annoying.
He was best suited as the number three heel of the promotion, he's just not a likeable guy, he's not funny like his failed attempt at stand up comedy proved, the guy is just an annoying douchebag.

Well, Ziggler has basically clinched being the absolute worst heel act of the year. And I don't blame him. What a useless useless act, hahaha. I honestly have absolutely no idea what the hell the point of it is. He's a heel who comes out and bitches and moans about how he's not there to entertain you and really gives you a splitting headache do it, then he bitches and moans about how no one takes him seriously, then 90% of the time he loses. When he loses, whatever, you beat this pathetic has-been no one cares about, when he wins, you lost to the doofus. It's not entertaining, it's not good for heat, it doesn't build him up to lose to someone later, it doesn't do anything to build up a face coming after him. It's just a headache-inducing waste of time. Like, I've loved Ziggler for the vast majority of his run but I hope he's gone for real because no exaggeration, he is the single most pathetic character in wrestling history right now. |

Miz should have beaten him last year in hindsight because he would use that as heat & we wouldn't ensure another year of Failure Dolph.
Worse, and I know he's divisive, but WHY DID CORBIN LOSE?!! Dolph could have the exact same promo without metaphorically flipping off the championship.

I was gonna vote for Mahal as worst wrestler, but the guy actually tried (they just gave him the wrong effing belt!)... But Ziggles clinched this for me.
I remembered liking him a lot in 2009 when he debuted and thought he would go places.
Almost a decade later, he did go places, but he's now a huge liability. He's the human representation of a band like Korn; at their best, they didn't adapt, and now they are a joke.
Yes... That analogy sucked, and I'll think of a way to improve on that.

I really don't understand people's disdain of Ziggler, or at least the level of it. He's a damn good wrestler and has consistently put on good matches for 10 years.
His booking has been almost criminal for all but about 6 months of that time and for some reason, people seem to blame him for it.
