I really don't understand people's disdain of Ziggler, or at least the level of it. He's a damn good wrestler and has consistently put on good matches for 10 years. His booking has been almost criminal for all but about 6 months of that time and for some reason, people seem to blame him for it. Whether it's for real or for play-play, people on here tend to make the wrestler and the booking synonymous. Anyway..I thought it could be cool if he went all Naito and degraded the belt. At first I thought he was gonna spit on it and chuck it outside, dragging it along. But the way it was excecuted...left a lot to be desired. Just seemed relinquished. In which case, why even do it in the first place.

Wrestlers can make the most of a bad situation, as in the "lemon" analogy. The problem is, even on a show with much lower standards, Ziggler won't change much besides his vocal tone. We tried deathly serious Dolph, conspiracy Dolph, whiny Dolph, anti pomp and circumstance Dolph, and embittered Dolph. This year.

you mean the career where a lot of peopel gave plenty of f***s about him? You wanna say current ziggler is awful and this year he was a giant drag?Sure ,but dont pretend he story of his careers is people not caring. Yeah let's be honest at one time Ziggler was the most over guy around. He was my favorite bar none until Seth showed up. The guy had one run on top, I'm not counting his feud with Edge because he lost every match then, against Del Rio, but unluckily Jack Swagger concussed Dolph, his standing was never the same with the company. Survivor Series should've been a huge boost for him but for mysterious reasons they never went with him. The problem is that he turned into a whiner both his character and in real life, his twitter feed became a pity party, he also was a bitch in interviews. One time even Mick Foley and Austin criticized him on the Stone Cold podcast, that whining about Cena was not the best thing he should do career wise. The guy just believes that he's better than he really is.

Ziggler gets demoted and he whines and talks about wins and losses don't matter cause he's the best then loses again.

I was gonna vote for Mahal as worst wrestler, but the guy actually tried (they just gave him the wrong effing belt!)... But Ziggles clinched this for me. I remembered liking him a lot in 2009 when he debuted and thought he would go places. Almost a decade later, he did go places, but he's now a huge liability. He's the human representation of a band like Korn; at their best, they didn't adapt, and now they are a joke. Yes... That analogy sucked, and I'll think of a way to improve on that. Actually, that analogy is perfect.

I'm personally just tired of seeing a character whose entire shtick is who mishandled he is, even in moments where he (kinda) isn't. In kayfabe, why the hell would Dolph have stayed as long as he has if he's mistreated this badly? Leave, guy. Go film porn or whatever your thing is.

His booking has been almost criminal for all but about 6 months of that time and for some reason, people seem to blame him for it. He’s definitely talented enough and has enough cause to be sour about things, but it’s simply that nobody likes a whiny bitch. Same thing happened to Ryder all those years back. That's why Ryder stopped doing the Last Resort YouTube show, because he realized nobody likes a whiny bitch. On the other hand Ziggler took being a bitch to another level. His whining went so far as saying during an interview that in real life he would kick John Cena and Orton's asses, that level of bitterness is a turn off for wrestlers to want to work with him or writers. The guy thinks he's god's gift to wrestling, he thinks he's as cool as Ric Flair but lately he's as cool as Paul Roma.

Maybe he didn't handle it the best way but they absolutely screwed him after Survivor Series. He was the most over face with Bryan out, and they just fired him for no reason, threw him out of the Rumble like he was nothing despite being the most over non Bryan guy in the match and then made him Kane job fodder. It was pitiful and absurd booking that felt purposefully destroying his fanfare.

The original new day promos were written by Vince and he thought the audience would cheer for them. It was really really bad. I thought one time during raw that Titus killed their careers with a promo about them being wack and hokey. New Day didn't complain after that instead they turned heel and the rest is history. They're one of the most popular acts in the company. Ziggler complained and complained and became irrelevant.

That and a combination of his character being a little too meta turns a lot of people off. It also doesn't help that his meta character claims to be a 'show stealer' when he hasn't been anything of the sort in quite a while.

That segment was painful. The highlight packages & then cutting back to the live crowd who couldn’t care less. I’m guessing this is Dolph to Raw rather than letting him go out there & do all of that to leave.
Meanwhile- good God Corbin is the last thing anyone is interested in pushing, and Roode doesn’t look much better.

You want to know why Dolph Ziggler never became the main star of the wwe? Because deep down in his promos he always ends up becoming a whiny bitch, it doesn't matter if he's a face or a heel, he's not a bad ass he whines and moans, the tone of his voice is annoying, he's just annoying. He was best suited as the number three heel of the promotion, he's just not a likeable guy, he's not funny like his failed attempt at stand up comedy proved, the guy is just an annoying douchebag. I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I'll believe Dolph Ziggler's a comedian when people start believing I'm 7 ft tall and Chinese.

Somehow I believe that this is leading to Dolph showing up on NXT.

Hey I was there when the Houston Rockets retired your number. No in all honesty Ziggler bombed during the stand up, that's why the Success of a Failure montage last year hit so close to home for Ziggler. I think that Ziggler wanted to leave the wwe years ago to try his hand in comedy but his set was so bad he realized wrestling is the only thing he has.

Since AJ seemingly has no feud going into the Rumble, any chance it’s gonna be Dolph, pursuing the title he never won?

Two things, he finally acknowledged that he is one of the most decorated wrestlers of all time and this still made more sense than him doing other people's entrances as some kind of lazy back door start to a feud with Bobby Roode.
That said he reminds me a bit of Harry Potter in the Order of the Phoenix. At the start of that book he had legimate issues with people. Major stuff had gone down and he basically spent a summer with absolutely no one, including his best friends giving him any hint as to what was going on. Dick move from them and I understand him being pissed. The thing is, he stayed pissed for the entire book, even in situations where it made no sense. That emo nob was turned to 11 and eventually I got sick of it. It got past the point where I was thinking 'yeah you got a point' to 'oh my god shut the f*** up already you whiny bastard'.
In the past, particularly how he was handled post Survivor Series, Dolph has had legitimate reason to be annoyed or complain or be angry. However, he's been doing it so long that I'm at 'oh my god shut the f*** up already you whiny bastard'.
